Hello everyone. Today I got my new xbox one controller and I am very happy with it. But there is one big problem. The controller seems to give enormous lag spikes/stutterings in GTA V. I got the controller connected to the pc with usb. It only seems to stutter when I plug the controller in BEFORE I startup GTA. When gta is already running and I plug it in then, it works fine. But when switching sessions it stutters again. The CPU usage is at 100% and the stutter is not playable. After some research on the internet I found that I am not the only one with the problem. The fixes that they are mensioning are very different from each and dont work for everyone. There doesnt seem to be a concrete fix.
Has anyone had this problem before or knows how to fix it? Help would be much appriciated.

Check task manager which process causes 100% CPU usage. Is it GTA or another process? Maybe try to reinstall the driver or use another USB cable.

It is caused by GTA V. I've updated the driver but it doesnt help. I also use the official included cable. The problem is not with the cable.

It seems like I fixed this problem. The problem had to do with the XINPUT compatible HID device. I had to manualy install an older driver for it because the new one gave this problem. For anyone else having this problem, this russian video worked for me: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlvLftCqvSo
