Matte red with a ice white pearl makes nice textured red that looks pretty damn good on some cars Matt colors never really appealed to me, I guess I like my cars having that more glossy look to them which leads me always going back to Metallic.

I kinda like my latest experiment: G.L.E.N-green, hot pink secondary, cream pearl and chrome offroad rims, I think I'll use that more often from now:

I use my own "Esperante Red", as seen in this video here: (edited out) In the shadows that almost looked like Broughy Orange... until it came into the sun. That is an interesting colour.

"Color schemes" make me sick. Painting all cars or a majority of cars 1 color combo just seems lazy and tasteless. I prefer to make my cars have a variety of colors that generally resemble the factory colors of the irl inspired car.

At one point my cars was gold and black. Then I started doing a value theme where Supers was gold, sports was chrome, etc. To prove money can't buy taste? My preferred colour/s are McLaren orange + black, or graphite primary, McLaren orange secondary.

My preferred colour/s are McLaren orange + black, or graphite primary, McLaren orange secondary. To be fair the gold actually did look nice on some cars. It suited the X80 and Phoenix quite nicely. And no thoughts on me now going red?

Painting all cars or a majority of cars 1 color combo just seems lazy and tasteless. Au contraire. Making one colour scheme work on a variety of cars isn't easy to pull off at all. And it's not laziness that makes people go for it, but the recognition factor. It is simply very helpful, especially in a racing situation, to know instantly who you are dealing with. And if I want to be admired for my taste, GTAO wouldn't be my place to go anyway. I'd probably more head sharp dressed to a classic or jazz concert I run matte dark blue, often with secondary lime green, sometimes only lime green wheels. Depending on the car I'll throw on lime green, sea blue or dew yellow pearlescent. Classic cars will get classic dark blue with racing green secondary and chrome wheels. However, these colours I chose for uniqueness as much as for the looks. Other schemes that I like and had previously. ---The Penguin car (matte graphite/ice white with orange feet ehr... wheels). ---The broughy scheme (matte light blue/orange with orange pearlescent -have abandoned it upon joining the crew and realising that the brough is using it and it's the crew colours basically) --- the crazy happy witch (Matte midnight blue and yellow secondary, often with dew yellow or orange pearlescent).

Oh the red is good, but like... the gold, the chrome - esp the chrome - was ewwww. The gold didn't suite all cars for sure. Still, I stand by the opinion that it did look good on some cars. Especially the Phoenix. Gold primary and black secondary, that thing looked awesome. The X80 was another car to. But something like the Zion, well.... yea. You got me there. lol Chrome I just did because chrome was the secondary thing to gold. Hell I don't even really like the chrome paint, I'm the same guy that said it's to bright and hard to look at. But it was a value thing, chrome came after gold, so hell with it. lol But yea I gave up on that and started going a red/black theme. I believe all my gold cars are gone. I do still have a few chrome, I haven't gotten around to painting them yet. But they are rarely used cars anyway, ones like the Futo and Penumbra. They'll become red eventually. It actually takes a lot of money to repaint 100 or so cars. Hell I've only now brought a Nero because I've been spending so much in modding previously owned cars. lol And I still got a long ways to go.

I use a variety of paintjobs, especially custom crew colours nowadays, but one standart combination I really quite like (on some cars) is galaxy blue with racing yellow pearl.

While my opinion isn't that extreme, I find it boring having 1 colour combination on every car. Like damn, I even changed my dominator colours like 3 times now.

Going through my cars, I either
a) paint them how I'd have them if I had them IRL, or b) Try to paint them in a classical or appropriate scheme.
So all my Progen cars (save the Tyrus, which has the proper Debonaire livery) are in McLaren orange. My Grottis are all in Formula Red. My Dewbauchees are all in grey or silver. My un-liveried retro custom Comet (YES I HAVE 2) is in racing yellow. I even have an Obey Tailgater (my next car will be an S3 Sedan or S4) in midnight blue.
The whole "look how intense/ugly I can make it" thing doesn't appeal to me. And I think a general monochromatic style isn't something I could pull off, even if it could look good. There's a guy on GTA forums, though, and I forget his name but his paint styles are literally what I imagine a fevered, dying dream looks like.
So um. TL;DR - I am fairly conservative in my paintjobs.
