Hey fellow Indycar drivers and FMJ pushers,
first, sorry for the tagging,
then as some of you are willing and wishing to at least test the possibilites of the FMJ as sole event car and also alot have practiced it on Sunset Hill the recent days, I suggest the following for tomorrow:
We meet regulary arround 17.30 UTC - 17.45 UTC in the events waiting room.
If we are less then 10 people we look out if there is enough space in the forgotten Friday Playlist or we move along with our lives.
But if there are more then 10 people, we will do a Indycar Preseason Teaser, either by finding someone who moves us or by us moving into one of the Racing Channels on TS.
Start at 18.00 UTC
3 Races each of 30 minutes: (maybe 2, as 90 minutes might be too long)
-Sunset Hill, 13 Laps, 1 SAGTC Pitstop mandatory, Start on Stickies, "Ping Grid" with the host (me?) going to the back.
This is the track alot allready put laps in, its very new, so a great test for the cars and the track.
-Mirrors Edge (2017), 14 Laps, 1 SAGTC Pitstop mandatory, Grid as we finished on Sunset Hill, but the first 10 player will start reversed (Winner of Sunset Hill will start from position 10 and so on).
This track is extremly established and its quality is well known, alot of us should know this track and thus be able to bring good racing on it.
-Del Perro Road Course, 27 Laps, 2 SAGTC Pitstops mandatory, Grid as we finished on Mirrors Edge, but the first 10 players will start reversed
This track might not be known to the people who have not driven SAGTC and it can be very tight and technical in these fast cars. It is the one track in the season that gets the closest to the "messy" Streetcircuits that the Indys sometimes drive on (like Baltimore for example) As nobody should allready practiced this track in the FMJ, it should be a tough challenge. (Note, as 90 minutes might be too much given the SAGTC Season 6 End/Season 7 Teaser event is later the evening, the 3rd race could be canceled if several people dont want to drive there).
Everyone who wanted to be part in someway in the Indycar Series can join.
I hope @zenvohh is okay with this one off teaser.
I will now try to tag everyone of the drivers, I am sorry, if you didnt want to be tagged:
