Hey guys, I found a way to change the chase cam in this game! That is, how to put it further away from the car, more upwards and all of that. Credits go to this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jteL3lZSex8Anyways, the trick is that by pressing "CTRL + K", you enter a free cam mode. You can then use WASD keys for forward-back as well as up-down camera movement - and Q and E for left and right. Additionally, the numpad keys 2, 4, 6 and 8 let you turn the camera same as normally, but in this free camera mode this actually sets the default position of the camera! Also, you can use the 5 to reset any left-right position or tilt to make it symmetrical again. Altogether, you can reach a camera setting similar to GTA: Some issues with this: Your camera setting won't get saved, so you'll have to change it with every load of a track. Also, toggling the free camera mode seems to be bugged similar to the assist toggles in that you'll have to press it once to toggle it on, and twice to toggle it off (the cycle is OFF -> ON -> ON). Anyways, I hope this helps my fellow gamepad users here!

It's cool they've given people that level of control over the camera, I still don't get why ppl want that view tho 3rd person cam gives me this weird disconnected feeling in games where the handling is on the more realistic side.

So I'm looking for a wheel for the pc to play project cars and gta on a wheel. I'm a complete newb in wheels so tell me which one I should get - Thrustmaster TMX pro (Don't quite know if this is a nice one - Thrustmaster T300RS GT (since this is less noise with the belt driven force feedback I heard?)
So thoughts of you noobs experts

So thoughts of you noobs experts TMX Pro is a slightly upgraded version of the T150 that I have. The pedals are T3PA Pro so they are much better than the T150 pedals. T300 has a much better wheel rim and motor. It comes with the same nice T3PA pedals. To use the clutch you need an h pattern shifter that is sold separately. I think you can only use the TH8A shifter and that alone is $150 USD. If you're looking for a cheap starting point get the TMX pro for $250. You can add the shifter later. Or you can spend $50-$75 more and get a nicer wheel rim and motor. You'll still need to get the h shifter separately. It really just depends on your budget. Both are good wheels.

Screw it, I'm getting this. Had bought one F1 game cuz a friend recommended it to me, but since he didnt play that game too much I lost interest for that. My G27 will get some proper racing action now (instead of that trucking simulation...) Keep me at it boys!

I don't know if that counts for other countries as well, but the G29 is on Black Friday sale today. At least in Germany. It's 205 bucks and I'll most likely get it. Sorry @pezby I didn't mount your paddles, I will place them in my personal trophy cabinet
