Well, you know I joined your previous playlists and thanks to that I managed to get my Comet under control and learned how to drive it. And I instantly fell in love with it. So doing a non-contact practice to improve in racing is very useful imo. My advice is, pick a car that you like, that you want to drive fast and want to master. Lear proper racing lines. Learn the basics of controlling cars in a racing situation. Then you can switch to more difficult cars, such as Dominator, 9F, maybe Comet or any other car that you find difficult to drive. From that list above I'd pick the Vager as its rear is quite erratic and needs brisk reactions. At the end, I wish you good luck with your playlist. And don't forget it's all about having fun...

I completely agree non-contact is the best to do first for awhile. You don't have to worry about hitting others, you get a chance to learn your car and your racing lines without jeopardizing others!!

Voted "other".
I see that you've already chosen a super, so I'll skip past that (Tempesta and Vagner require similar lines if I recall correctly, so that's fine).
For sports I'd say either version of the Massacro. It has never failed me and is forgiving enough to work under almost any conditions. Its longer wheelbase makes it less twitchy than the Feltzer and as a result it tends towards understeering a little, making it a great car for learning new tracks aswell as battling from my experience. "When in doubt: Massacro"

Other: Comet.
If you can control this wonderful beast, then you can control anything.
Comet is love. Comet is life.

Stop looking for the easy way out, be a man and pick a mans car to learn to race in; Dominator, 9F, Comet, etc. If you can get the most out of them, you can get the best out of everything else.

I agree that it'll be a learning experience, but I disagree with "easy way out". The cars regarded as "easy" require a more aggressive style to get the most out of them, because the cars remain stable during hard steering. If you learn to drive a 9F or Comet and think that's enough to drive anything you might not realize how much you're underperforming in the "easy" cars later on. You need to get good at both eventually. EDIT: By that I mean you'll learn to drive too carefully to the point of not taking the risks required to be fast in the easier cars, which would otherwise result in a spectacular crash in the harder cars.

Hello everybody. I really like racing on GTA but I'm not very good. I'm gonna start up a PC weekend playlist for people like me who aren't very good. I remember a while ago people recommended the 9F to learn with, but I'm not sold on using a car that I won't actually use once I am good so would really only want to use a top tier car. I feel like I would like the races to be all with one class so we can track our performance, but I'm torn between Supers or Sports. I like that if I got to grips with the Nero it would be good on stunt tracks. I hear the Vagner is RWD and a little tough to control, while also being very quick. I know everyone says the Elegy is OP but I spin out a lot. Not sure if getting good with this would translate to other cars. Feltzer is the best non OP sports car and RWD, which is better for learning? Maybe I should go with the 9f or something else though? Thanks for any feedback, will post again soon when I get the playlist up and running. Very cool to see you back jimmy, im back/still around. I hope you dont mind me jumping in again at some point

Start with the easiest cars (Jester RC and Tempesta) Then move on to cars that have a lot of oversteer (PW Dominator) or understeer (I would say Duke O Death, but there might be better options for this) Essentially, work your way from high grip cars to low grip cars
