One of the best things Rockstar has stated on this to me, 2-4 players. Finally me and my friend can play the heist ourselves. We don't have to babysit 2 other randoms or deal with trolls joining in. The 4 player limit was so annoying on the old heist. So Rockstar saying 2-4, very happy to hear that. Yeah, I kinda hope they also get rid of the requirement to keep everybody alive. I wouldn't mind it playing more like contact missions. Although I'm wondering how the payouts will adjust. Unlikely you'll get double the money when playing with half the people. This thing alone makes me wonder if the missions will even pay decently.

It's an interesting precedent if that's true, it gives me hope that maybe it's a groundwork being laid for future updates to append to this system, provided that it gives R* enough money to motivate further "Heists 2.0" content.

I really hope they're not carbon copies of the special vehicle missions Well, I hope they are a bit more involved and part of a longer line of missions, but if there are more setup missions than for the existing heists I'd rather get payed as a host while doing them. Also for some of the stuff it would be less frustrating if the last person alive could still finish the job, if others manage to get killed all the time. But that's likely not going to work if they put in the role structure again (which in itself sounds unlikely if there's no set amount of people).

Would be cool if say R* has the mission set up for a 4-player team, meaning if you play with 2 you'd be in for a really hard time, but if you win you get to split the full cut 50/50 (or whatever way) between just the two of you. I mean to me that makes sense. Sadly the payout will likely decrease or increase depending on the amount of players. Also I wonder of Heist 2.0 will be double money for the first week or two? R* didn't do it back in Heists 1.0, but these days things are different. For at least the past year, every update that has came out has had double money week one, with usually a extension on week 2. Now this is a Heist and now a business update, but will be interesting to see if R* still keeps the double money trend going.

Knowing R* they wouldn't make the payouts great for four players unless everything is scaled/same payouts per person for setups no matter the amount of people. I'd like to see at least a small bonus for small teams, but if it was straight up the same pot, but split to fewer people you can bet it would all be balanced around two players.

With Adversary Modes/Races, yes but with the sole purpose of each update, it wasn't for a few weeks until they done Double Money for selling Hangars, Bunkers, Import/Export, Bikers etc etc...

lets not forget that most of these will be dripfed, so new garage space probably won't be given straight away

Genuinely hope there are new heists that take what was good about the old ones and improve upon them. That is asking a lot of Rockstar though, to actually improve content instead of copy pasting the same shit over and over.
