[XB1] Clash of the Coupes: Saturdays @ 19:30 UTC (COMPLETED)

The first round will be on Saturday 10th March. Dates for later rounds may change but I will keep this thread updated if there are changes.

In about a week, non-verified members will not be able to post in event threads or take part in any NoDo organised events anymore. I highly suggest giving all of the new stuff a read, including the new NoDo Discord Server post, the update on what is changing in NoDo post and the ' How to become Verified' post. Please take the steps to become verified when you can.

The track for the final round (Rallycross) has changed from RIP Sands #Rally by SMaCkz 666 to The Grand National Rally by JettaArts. This is due to the former not allowing Coupes.

After the success of Round 1 of this event nearly two weeks ago, I was eager to get on with finalising details for the other 3 rounds: City, Airport/Docks, and Rallycross (the last one I was particularly looking forward to). However, in the last week there have been some big changes:

1) The UTC time is changing on the 25th March, the day after Round 2 of this championship was supposed to be held - this could make it confusing for those involved, as the start time will change from 1930 to 2030 UTC.
2) The new update meant that user created stunt races were limited to 7 laps - making hour races on most stunt races impossible.
3) Time and time again, the dates that I were to have the rounds of this championship have been taken up with other one-off events. I was willing to accept this the first time, postponing the start date of this event by one week. The second time, I was less compliant but still thought it polite as to not make those competing in my event choose between events happening at the same time - the numbers for each event would suffer as a result. Bdogs, who has a championship starting the week after mine was due to finish, was very kind when he offered to move his event back a week to allow to allow this extra week. For that, Bdogs, I thank you immensely. However, recently on these forums an event came up (which by the way looked like it was not possible that less time could have been dedicated to the event thread), which of course was verified immediately even though the date that it is on was the same date as one of the rounds of this championship once again... for the third time, and it was by the same person each time! I am sick and tired of this.

This event has been more trouble than I ever thought it would be. I will not reveal the name of the person who made this event so difficult (if he reads this, and you know who you are, thanks a lot.), but if this event keep having to make way for other one-off events, then I'm afraid I cannot continue with this championship the way I wanted to.

Because of these reasons, this Saturday will be the second and final round of this championship, making it a two-parter. However, I still want to give all those involved a taste/experience of what this championship would have been if I hadn't had it to cut short. Therefore, this Saturday there will be a playlist of three 25-minute races (no pit stops, but still with a grid or something so that people can borrow cars if they have to), where we will be playing 2 of the 3 tracks that we were going to play, plus an additional new one, as the City track that I had before cannot be used due to the lap limit on stunt races. This playlist will start at 7:30pm UTC (still 7:30pm UK time) as usual, with the pre-lobby opening at 7pm UTC (7pm UK). We will aim to finish around just after 9pm UTC (9pm UK). As for the points standings from the first round, each race will have scores recorded as the following.

1st - 15 points
2nd - 12 points
3rd - 10 points
4th - 8 points
5th - 6 points
6th - 5 points
7th - 4 points
9th - 3 points
10th - 2 points
11th and after - 1 point
