I started with a 0-20 record. Now I have what I think is a good record of 762-380.
Practice. A lot. And just don't quit racing!
Any helps and tips, I'm sure the community will help you. Good luck!

Just to point out, KrazyPotato hasn't logged in since they created this thread so probably won't see any responses.

Good for you, but trust me as soon as you start racing with this crew, your win/loss ratio will go south really quickly. Even the best of us have a negative W/L ratio, simply because it's impossible to win every race against such a competitive crowd. Luckily though, no one cares about that ratio anyway.

I've only just experienced my first taste of a Nodo event. I literally went in with no track knowledge with a car I barely know and ended up about 10 -15 seconds a lap slower on Blaine County 24h. I definitely need to ease myself into it rather than jumping into an event, however Im still figuring the placement of playlist races and more casual ones. Im on PS4.

Kinda hard to practice against no one. Hot lapping doesn't really get me far as I usually get annoyed at myself but I guess It'll have to do until I find something.

You have the benchmark times to practice against in the event you participated on saturday. They are more than enough to give you a challenge and keep you occupied.

Considering I became Verified within a day of the event, I wouldn't have known about the benchmark times or anything. Anyway what might work for you doesn't mean it fits everyone.

Now you know about them. Also you didn't try and go for the benchmarks yet. You could search for videos of a hotlap on the track as well to get an idea of lines + braking points (or ask for a video if there aren't any who show the lap decently (maybe from a person who drove nearly all the cars around these tracks, cough me cough).

That would be more beneficial to what Im currently doing anyway which is basically trial and error on lines and then work on consistency. It would mean a lot man, hopefully I wont finish so far back on the next tracks eh.

Check the Season 4C! tracks and the available cars for it (this week it's R3 - Dusche Gold Rally Circuit and R4 - Fever Pitch). Then tell me of which car you want to see a lap (only one per track tho lol).
