Too much DRS in this case, cars could overtake from way back. Hamilton got three overtakes in one straight!
Bottas has shown that's he's simply not good enough I think. He needs more passion and drive. Massa was a clear number 2 was competitive in his own right. Webber as well.
A better race as a spectacle, but it quickly settled down. Great work from Gasly, hopefully that's a sign of things to come.

I think it has shown that in some cases the rules do allow you to use different strategies and still be close to winning. If Bottas had a couple extra tenths per lap from lap 59 he probably would have won. Didn’t really get many shots at over taking but it was close.
Reminds me of races from the 80’s slightly. You can take different strategies and it is still possible to overtake and work your through the pack, you don’t just get stuck behind cars. This time I think the track had a lot to do with it but it made the race far more interesting, not every overtake has to be super dramatic or even very difficult, if people are in different race phases.
Also was “fuel saving” mentioned once? Again could be a track specific reason but still nice to not hear it much.

Sauber did well to get into the points; it'll be interesting to see Leclerc at Ferrari next year, replacing Kimi. Good results for STR, Haas, Renault and McLaren. for Red Bull.

So happy to see Vettel win again. Hope the Ferrari mechanic is ok, bring back the lollipops. Ferrari should think about Gasly rather than LeClerc. This is awesome from Vettel About damn time someone said it, well done Vettel. I'm fed up with all these gossip stories out of nothing, Sky, you are the worst at this.

This is awesome from Vettel Leclerc's win at Spa 2017 should not be forgotten here, nor should the fact Gasly is 8 races in, Leclerc 2. Gasly is also probably the Red Bull backup if Ricciardo goes to Mercedes next season.

Well.. that was exciting, to say the least. I was 2 feet above the couch for those last two laps. To be fair, Ferrari got lucky on this one. Well defended by Seb on absolutely no tire left, but that Merc was so much faster towards the end. I'm happy though!
Just wish Kimi could've finished too. Watched the replay over a few times from the pitlane, and that leg just snaps right off. Poor man! What happended there with the go-signal for Kimi? Did he get it?

Looks like Ferrari's mechanic is doing ok considering the circumstances: I don't see a picture there. Just a small black box. Is that a problem on my end?
