Conspiracy theory alert.
Haas breaks down, Ferrari powered - safety car creates Vettel win. Torro Rossos crash, Red Bull sister team - safety car creates Ricciardo win.
Next race:
Williams breaks down, Mercedes powered - safety car creates Hamilton win.
On a serious note. I'm fed up of this Hamilton vs Vettel talk. We have 6 race winning drivers across 3 race winning cars on the grid. Until we start seeing a status quo I'm refusing to accept this 2 horse race.

If only we could have this kind of action without a safety car situation...
And if that one RBR driver would finally mature just a tiny bit, that'd be great.

...make Prost look like the villain from a cartoon... To be fair, that's not far off from the truth. I bet a few of the guys in the Ferrari administration could tell you a thing or two about Prost. I believe he managed to get on the wrong side of the entire team at one point. In fact - did he not get fired off the Ferrari team for being a general ass? Sidenote - I too was glued to the screen during the mid 80's. Comparing racecraft and general attitude towards your fellow drivers to todays F1 world, is quite litterally impossible. It was a different game back then. I will never forget Sennas last race though... In a sport where egoism is rife, nobody is a villain or hero. They're just entitled brats with arrested development. But I mean, I loved Nige and as I type I'm looking at his FW14b in 1:43 scale on my desk. But he was also a difficult prat wasn't he? My point was not "Max = Senna", my point is Max will be to F1 now what Senna was then. And I'm unsure really how people can dispute that unless they're upset he tangled with their favourite driver who once lucked into a title when the McLaren boys were squabbling.

twitter.com/F1/status/986528952058433537Has anyone been seeing this? Is it just me or have pit stops gotten even quicker this year? I remember them being just under 3 seconds most of the time, maybe 2.5s, but now they are getting closer to the 2sec mark! Good to see that some of the slower teams are up there with the quickest pit stops too.

He's just not showing the form that made him so exciting at Williams, and that makes me think they'll replace him next year. Rosberg said he thinks Ricciardo should go to Ferrari next year, because he can beat Vettel (proven) and they have the best car (maybe...). Ferrari though have said priority is getting a Ferrari development driver in there, to really invest in new talent the way McLaren have with Lewis in the past and Stoffel currently; or the way RB have with Vettel, Ricciardo, Verstappen and Sainz. So that may leave Bottas' seat open for Danny Ric... Personally I think he should stay at Red Bull...

Has anyone else jumped on Fantasy F1? Would it be worth starting a NODO League?

I don't know, but I do know I've always found him a bit overrated. He did get the sour end of a few team-orders both last year and the one before on account of the golden boy being carried to victory, but still... I too could see Ricciardo in a Ferrari when Kimi steps down. Would be very interesting! That could be one dominant drivers duo. At least if they're given the same chances by the crew.

Bottas seems to be racing too safely in some regard. There were a few instances that he could have been more aggressive and gotten away with it. I would've liked to see a bit more of a dive bomb on Vettel in Bahrain, but I guess we can't expect the same out of Bottas as we can from Ricciardo. As of this point in the season I don't think Kimi will leave F1 this season. He's been driving well but Ferrari keeps screwing him strategy wise. I don't think he's done racing just yet though. It would be interesting to see the old Red Bull teammates back together at Ferrari though.

I do believe he has to perform pretty descent over the next 4-5 races though. Unless he steps up as a major contender this year, he might be looking at replacement even before the season ends. Am am right in remembering that Ferrari even stated late 2017 that he needs to find his top form or this is his last year in Ferrari?

Kimi's done. He's literally there to pad out Ferrari's points. We've all seen his last win, and he's only at this point got a future plan at Maranello which involves warming the seat for someone else.

I can't believe that Bahrain had its last year of hosting F1. I remember the first race pretty well around 04 ish. It was a controversial track politically and literally due to temperature. Hope other tracks dont end so soon

Hope other tracks dont end so soon I still remember Korea and India. Korea was... ok as a track, a bit far out of the way of any major city which meant nobody went. But India was a cracking track that I remember well from F1 2011 and 2012.
