The Fishy Cup Testrun
Overview
You want to join an event without practice and dont feel bad about it? You enjoy short but intense Races? Then this is for you!
A successor to Ganjalo 's Sunday Cup but slightly tweaked. I hope people enjoy this kind of format and are happy to try out some new things. This will be a test: If an event like this works and if this type of event interests people, i will host this event regularly. If there is something that needs changing im very much open to feedback. See you guys on the track.
Details:
Date: 13th of April 2018
Time: 6 p.m. UTC
Duration:between 2 and 2.5 h
Car: Obey 9F/9F Cabrio
Region/Theme: Downtown LS, Pillbox Hills
Only the "Region" or "Theme" of the chosen Track will be announced beforehand. All Race will be held on the same Track.
Note: The Track can be a completely new creation made by myself or other creators. Nevertheless the used track can also be a very old creation made a few years ago. You dont know what you will get, but i will try my best to choose enjoyable tracks.
The Tournament:
The Cup will consist of 5 races. After every single race (Qualifying/Heat/etc.) please hit the "replay button". Between the session will be a 5 min break, the break after Qualifying may be extended to process the laptimes accordingly.
- Qualifying/Practice Session: Will be a ~30 min Non-Contact Session. The Fastest Laptimes of this session will determine the starting position for the two following Heats
- Additional information:The Qualifying will be a set number of laps, before finishing your last lap you have to wait at a predetermined spot. We will finish the qualifying together after the 30 min are done. The qualifying screenshot for the qualifying Laptimes will be taken as soon as im out of the qualifying session. - Two Heats: Are two 15 min Races, the starting grid is based on the qualifying result (the Grid will be identical for both Heats).
- Pre-Final: Is a 15 min Race. The starting grid is based on the current overall standings (Qualifying included). In case of a tie the Qualifying Laptimes will determine the grid position.
- Final: Is a 20 min Race. The starting grid is based on the the finishing position of the Pre-Final.
The winner of the Final Race wins the cup!
Time of day: All Races will be played in Noon
Weather: For Landraces the Weather on all Races will be set to Current

The Drivers score points for the Qualifying and Heat 1 and Heat 2: The Overall Rule of Thumb: The less points the better.
The winner of the Heats or Qualifying will aquire 0 Points. Going down the Ranks, the points increase in linear fashion:
1st : 0 Points
2nd : 1 Point
3rd : 2 Points
4th : 3 Points
...

Signing Up: Participants must meet event eligibility requirements, and should have (the equivalent of) some experience in the daily playlist, or a previous event in order to sign up. Since this is supposed to be casual fun, there are no teams required
You HAVE to own the Car used in this Event.
Race Rules:
- Standard NoDo Racing and Etiquette Guidelines Apply
- Discord mandatory: Every driver is required to be in the same channel for communication between drivers.
- Track Limits: There are no active Track Limits in place.
Restrictions:
- 60 FPS limit
- No restrictions for car modifications
Additional information:
Full Blue flag rules are in effect. Be courteous and considerate with all other drivers.
Pitting: No mandatory Pitstops. However if there is a pitlane available you are free to take it at any given time. Just be aware of other Drivers.
Starting Procedure: Everyone will start on a sticky bomb at a given time.
