Welcome to Room 101: GTA V Edition, where you can share your pet hates & worst nightmares about GTA V, in a hope to see them banished (figuratively) out of existence. You must argue your case well, as only the best entries will enter through those doors. You have 3 entries, and they can be about anything in the GTA V universe, whether it be Story Mode or GTA Online. It can be about a specific car, a car class, a radio station, a type of GTAO player, a mission in the campaign, a character in the game. Anything, absolutely anything.* *except an entry that specifically targets a certain or a small minority of people, especially people within our community, in a negative way.
Other Rules to Mention
1) Please make sure all 3 entries are kept in one post. If you can't think of 3 at the time, do what you can and come back to that post later and edit it. 2) Please submit no more than 3 entries, otherwise, only the first 3 entries will be chosen. 3) Don't take this too seriously, it is just a chill way of sharing our pet hates of GTA and what we would all like to see removed, fixed, etc. If we show passion in what we dislike about a game, it shows how much we actually like the game, as we want it to be the best it possibly can! (Who knows, maybe R* will see this one day and fix some things :P)

These are my entries. This is also a potential template for other people when they complete their entries.
Entry 1: NPC behaviour in I/E buying & selling missions Don't you just hate it when you're about to arrive at your warehouse, proud of your current run of form in sourcing cars without any repair costs, only to arrive at a 4-way junction where you are greeted with a smirking Radius and a giggling FQ2? I sure do. It's obvious to everyone that Rockstar has deliberately altered the traffic settings to cause more accidents to occur, just to decrease your overall profit when it comes to selling. Why do they have to spoil our fun and money making?
Entry 2: People who join closed events mid-way through Event hosts can spend hours working on their events, including making a dedicated forum thread, where people can sign-up for said event. It is really annoying, however, when you get into the race and within minutes, there is already a random spectating. This can cause multiple issues to occur. One being frame drops, especially here on Xbox. Another being a potential train spawning, which could actually disturb the race. This issue has happened many times before, whether it be someone just wanting to watch, without realising the situation, or maybe one of the signup's friends just happened to believe they were doing a casual playlist.
Entry 3: Grotti Briosso R/A This car should never have existed. It's ridiculously ugly. It drives like a Panto on an ice-rink. It literally obliterates the Compacts class. And the plague of this car seems to have spread to many new members, as it is the only Compact you need to win with really, which is a shame, as it would be nice to see more people ditching this car for the old stuff again, like the beautiful Rhapsody and Blista. Hopefully, the Issi Classic will help this rebellion somewhat.

1. Game Characters Calling You
When in online, some people like Ron, Lester, Your assistant or someone else is most likely to call you which is most of the time pointless and annoying.
2. The waiting time when calling Mechanic
You can request a car delivery every 5 minutes. But if you’re in middle of calling up a vehicle, or have just received it and someone blows you up, the waiting time is bullshit for something you didn’t even do.
3. Race-related nonsense
Why is the Caracara available for races but Ardent is not? Why is there a 16 player limit in Transformation Races? Why can we only do 7 laps on Stunt Tracks now? Why are there no new classes yet for these overpowered new vehicles e.g. Sports Classics Top cars?

Entry 1: Camera glitch in Sedans/SUVs This is more about the Sedans class, than the SUVs. I really hate the fact that we can't race Sedans anymore, in my opirion it has the most diverse group of cars around the same pace. I'm talking the cars like the Asea, the Glendale, the Surge etc, cars at that pace. Those cars produce great racing against each other. And we can't have that anymore.
Entry 2: "Every new car has to be new best car in the class or it's trash" attitude Why can't a car just be good looking or be at the pace where it should be, why does it need to be way out pace compare to the logical competitors. For an example, the new Ellie is well balanced with the cars like Vigero and Tampa, which are roughly from the same time period (or they meant to be). And people are upset that the Ellie is slower than the Dominator, which is a modern day car. I'm not saying every DLC car is where it should be logically, but a really large protion of them are hated because of it's performance only, when it really shouldn't.
Entry 3: Lowriders out performing the non-custom variants Lowriders are built only for style, the least important factor when turning a car into a lowriders is performace. Lowriders are usually barely drivable, they are not even close to the performance of the car before of it's customization, and in GTA they are doing exactly the opposite of it.

Entry 1. OP NPC's When in missions, specifically the Doomsday Heist missions or vehicle cargo, you get wrecked by NPC's that empty their entire clip in 0.00001 sec and all the bullets seem to be magnetically drawn to your head.
Entry 2. Self destructing veponized vehicles Vehicles fitted with missiles blow up and cost you 20K, as your fired rocket launches so low that it hits a bump in the road. Seems to be worst on the Vigilante, but I've had this on the Deluxo and Opressor as well.
Entry 3. Racing trolls This is a multiple problem situation. Players waiting at the finish line to block. Players sacrificing their own race position just to take you out. Players quitting the moment they realize they're not winning. Race hosts that kick high ranks to eliminate competition. And so on...

Entry 1: NPC ignoring obstacles when shooting Never happened to you that, when exporting a vehicle to get that juicy cash, you fall on those NPCs in blue Sultan RS that shoot at you and draw that money away like leeches? It'd be fine if it was just that, as one could logically use traffic to take the bullets for you and avoid being shot at. But, for some reason, even hidden behind a car or a truck, they seem to manage to shoot your car, as if there was nothing in-between to protect you. That's annoying as all hell when trying to grind the game to buy the latest overexpensive vehicle.
Entry 2: Over weaponization/militarization of... everything Lobbies were already nightmare before all that weaponized/military vehicles trend came out, with all the tryhards in Kurumas/Insurgents/Hydras. But since the arrival of all those weaponized vehicles, public lobbies became war zones, literally. Passive mode is more often than not the only way to not get blown up by a dude passing by in his Oppressor or Deluxo. Game is called Grand Theft Auto, not Call of Duty.
Entry 3: People who don't seem to know player saved outfits exist in Heists You look for a quick heist to farm some cash. A nice little finale so you can get your small but still pleasant 15% cut of the score. And then you notice the host left the clothes as "Crew Selection". Even though you mention it several times, the host presses start, and you're in the selection screen, having to deal with the ugly outfits the game gives you. Say bye to your heavy vest that made you a bullet sponge, and say hello to the Restart screen as all everyone is going to keep dying over and over, turning your quick heist farm into a nightmare only ragequitting will save you from.

Entry 1: Rockstars constantly breaking racing Just seems like every update to the game they somehow find a way to ruin the racing experience. Everything from wrenches not being able to fix the car if it's on a stunt prop, the sedan/suv camera glitch they somehow keep forgetting to fix, ending the rain racing on stunt racing and now this recent 7 lap debacle.
Entry 2: Import/Export Don't get me wrong this is a great way to make some quick cash but the amount of money you make selling them is wrong. Why place all the cars in 3 tiers of worth (standard, mid, top) instead of giving us a certain percentage of the actual cars worth instead of a fixed price. Why am I getting the same amount of money for a Z-type than I am getting for the X80?
Entry 3: Weaponized vehicles in racing So with the recent release of the Caracara and it being a weaponized vehicle and able to race them in regular races you'd think the other (weaponized) cars i.e the Ardent would be raceable. But alas you cannot which is a shame because the Ardent to me drives the best out of the top sports classics and being able to race it would mean more variety. Unless they're planning to make all weaponized vehicles raceable in the future with an ability to disable weapons option during the race menu but somehow I doubt this and it's a shame really.

Entry 1: GTAO's absolutely pathetic anti-cheat Let's face it, this isn't a high priority for R* but it really should be. The fact that the game is dreadfully secured is part of why prices are the way they are (beyond possessions, also tax rates like insurance and orbital cannon, etc), why basic functions like racing records (and other leaderboards) are rendered completely pointless, contributes to a sense of isolation since the only reliable open lobbies (that many jobs require) are solo lobbies, and fuels a toxic loop of players sending their money to 3rd parties for modded accounts rather than starting legitimately once they are banned. If the game had a much better lockdown on cheating from the start, there wouldn't be a need to have a lopsided buyer demographic of cheaters (and cheater-introduced money) versus legitimate grinders versus Shark Card whales, with aggressive selling strategies employed to keep the whales paying, cheaters being fucking rewarded for cheating, and everyone else groaning in frustration. More players would be inclined to toss R* a bone if it didn't make them feel like pure suckers for doing so unnecessarily with so much cheated cash in circulation and available. Furthermore, without a functional anti-cheat the burden falls on the players to go out of their way to find and collect evidence and submit reports on their own, taking time out of their recreation in order to volunteer into the black-hole bureaucracy of R* support on faith alone that they're not wasting their time. We all know how that goes. On the other side of the coin, we have incidents like the massive PC false-ban-wave that occurred recently which demonstrates what occurs as R* attempts to tackle things after-the-fact. Really, it's just a humongous mess and embarrassing for everyone involved. What's worse is that the financial success of GTAO only reinforces the notion that R* feels they're just fine having not invested in a functional anti-cheat, and that somehow the decision maintains value. They're a huge, design-by-committee type of company so it's unlikely they'll deviate from a financially successful model.
Entry 2: What feels like a dull lack of effort on R*'s part The fundamental problem with GTAO's uninspired, lethargic, myopic, and baffling success is based on a completely skewed value scale. Rather than risk a high-effort content bomb that is meant to rejuvenate interest and push for a big surge of engagement, GTAO has maintained regularly scheduled puffs of superficial content with strategically timed Steam sales. Most of it (Doomsday heist being the big exception) is designed to require the least possible development cost as possible, stretching that flavor across as much filler as possible. It's the smallest possible upkeep cost to maintain their live-services business model with a disproportionate return on investment. There's nothing out there that doesn't expressly lead straight back to selling something. There's no connection to a larger GTAO community (not that there is one, expanded below), there's no communication about updates-in-development, and there's just an opaque wall between R* and its game and its players. We get little trailers for content releases a week or so before they come, or sometimes on the day they come, and that's basically it. For a game raking in the kind of money that it does, there's no effort placed on it at all and no sense of investment in the future success of the game. GTAO could completely crumble tomorrow and it wouldn't disturb R* because they've already made their money back many times over. Compare this to anything-from-Blizzard or League of Legends which releases regular vlogs or developer journals about the direction their game is developing toward, things to expect, reasons they're making certain decisions, or responses to community feedback. We don't even have a community director or some dude whose job it is to respond to our bullshit on Reddit or Twitter or whatever, it's draconic. Rockstar Games doesn't have a face.
Entry 3: GTAO's mostly disgraceful social media community Really, aside from a few gems this entire YouTube platform is a fucking minefield of same-sounding, egregiously low-effort clickbait content-thieves with obviously inflated views and subs motivating a horde of imitators that culminate into a rainbow cacophony of artery-clogging actual garbage whenever you want to access or discover any kind of GTAO content. I'd do my famous impression of these guys but you can already hear that voice in your head stretching out every sentence to the maximum amount of words possible like they've run out of things to say while filling out a school project that has a minimum word-count. Really, the dynamic here of people stealing/imitating each others' content while stretching it out with filler in order to put in as little effort as possible while getting as much financial return as possible is a mere reflection of the parasitic nature of the entire game/"content"-creator relationship vs its viewer/player base.
Bonus Entry 4: Visible K/D ratio Hear me out, right? A fair bit of toxic in-game behavior can be attributed to the visibility of a player's kill/death ratio. The employ of whatever weaponized vehicles, the aggressive hunting of lowbies, the exploitation of things like suicide mechanics or relocation-by-mission, leaving passive mode while chasing people down in a jet, whatever really annoys people, a lot of it feels like it is in pursuit of some badge. GTAO doesn't have any kind of "end-game" as you would describe in other games, so a lot of players have flocked to this practice as a sort of sport on its own, which I realize feels foreign and silly in a game where my point #1 above exists, and yeah some players grief just for its own joy but the K/D carrot-on-a-stick is a lasting motivation for serial griefers. Some people just can't get competitive in an actually-competitive game, so GTAO is their substitute.

1) AI in online session work: Always when I am doing any type of cargo or vehicle cargo work the AI are ridiculously overpowered. They shoot you down in 1 second. Always seem to hit you, even with a pistol from 300 meters and always know somehow where you respawn so you get spawn killed.
2) Catch-Up: A gamebreaking mechanic introduced by Rockstar that will make the honest leader of a race slower, people will catch up to you fast while you did so much work to gain that place, assuming you're not a scumbag.
3) People leaving mid-session: I used to do quite a bit of heist work, mainly Pacific Standard. There are always people that want to drive a vehicle so much that they even kill you for it. And then when they don't get what they want they just quit the session. Everyone needs to go through all of the loading screens again and you'll need to find a new member..

1. The time I wasted in loading screens I could've fixed my life or started a business career or something, but no, I was stuck in the clouds loading...
2. Moving off the racing line to go for a boost It just looks freaking odd and annoyed me since I started racing in this game. Don't you just hated it when you loose a fight or a whole race just because you didn't boost as good as the others?
3. Brake boosting Literally unplayable. Who on earth would brake to get faster?

1. R* pushing public sessions It's the worst kind of experience you can have in this game for many reasons. Apart from the expected griefers during missions these lobbies can take minutes to load in, have you deal with modders, and apparently trigger the faulty anti-cheat and get you banned. And a lot of people will just make private sessions anyways.
2. Stunt props only being usable in stunt races If this wasn't the case we'd still have old physics, weather options, working wrenches and none of the issues stunt races generally suffer from. Unless they are somehow linked to the props themselves for some reason.
3. R*'s lackluster maintainance Pushing out patches only with updates has lead to the creator and stunt races in general being broken for months, each update features new bugs and the only ones that are getting fixed have to do with money glitches, but those happen over night. DLCs are obviously not being tested enough, if at all, and even if modding goes really rampant there won't be a fix between content updates.

People claiming the Flash GT is the Focus WRXThe Flash GT is not a Focus WRX (it only has its headlights). It is based of the current generation Fiesta WRC along with the rear of the car being influenced by the current Hyundai I20 WRC. The people who claim its based of the Focus WRX are those who don't follow rallying and think that Ken fucking Block is a God (he's never won a WRX or WRC event...), but the less said about him the better. Back to the Flash GT, the most obvious reason it's based on the Fiesta WRC and not Focus WRX is the size of its wheel base. It's too short to be a over-sized modern Focus! People who hate the Piss DomThere's a reason this car is chosen a lot in PL's - it's fun to drive! Maybe it's overused and I can get why there would be some hate for that, but does not warrant the hate that this car gets by certain members of the community. This car, along with the reg. Dom on a city track are both a joy to drive (maybe not as much since the San Andreas Sport Series Update). How the Reaper has just been forgot aboutYes, it may be down on power, but this car is a joy to drive and it's sad to see that so many have just forgotten or not even cared about it. For those who doubt this, I tell you to get one and load up a bumpy city track. I can guarantee you that you will enjoy your experience massively. This is easily one of the most underappreciated DLC cars we have gotten, which has been forgotten for the same reason as Benimi's number two post.

XBox Connection Issues
I just hate the fact that if you are lucky enough to make into a racing session there is a huge chance you will get booted mid way through the race. Or it seems more likely if some people are the host that it can inevitably be an issue. I don't have the patience sometimes and I have missed some great races because of this. Pisses me off. Way passed a pet peeve.
Dirty Racers in Public Lobbies
It just makes me so mad that people can't seem to comprehend the idea of racing clean. I just want to race and let the skill be the determining factor. In NoDo I am for sure bottom half but in the world of GTA I am a God and I just want to clean race. It is so bad that I write messages to people who give me a challenge and keep it clean all the way. It seems so rare and I appreciate it so much. Backwards racing trolls are included in this
The Price of everything in the game
Yes, there are many ways to get money in the game but I am so tired of grinding. I have spent so many hours selling cocaine, import/export and doing VIP missions. You can make good money but about 4 hours for a million is just too damn long just to get cars. Especially in public lobbies when people seem to live for messing up your money. I am sick of putting so much time into the game just to enjoy the game. I wait for racing Double Money and I enjoy those kinda but RockStar created tracks are so trash that it gets so boring and then you have to deal with the trolls all the time
I HATE THIS GAME!!!!!
