1) What is your favorite game of all time?
I'll list two games actually, if that's ok. My first pick would be Def Jam: Fight for NY for the PS2. I have very fond memories of playing through the story and beating this game several times. My best friend (who we only get to hang out probably a handful of times a year anymore due to having different work schedules) and I
to this day will still fire up this game, play, and just drink beer and bullshit.
My second pick would be SmackDown vs RAW 2006. I spent probably years worth of a lifetime playing through General Manager mode and managing TV shows and PPVs. Until this mode is brought back to a WWE wrestling game, I don't really see a need to buy the newest wrestling game every year. They took the best mode out of the game. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
As far as genres of games, my favorite is racing games. Why? Simply put, I can't fly down the highway at 150mph fleeing from the police in real life. Well, I suppose
I could but I don't think I'd live to tell the tale. XD
2) What is your favorite movie of all time?
Limitless. I like the message that it conveys. Several others as well, quite a few too many to list.
3) Who is your favorite music artist and/or what genre of music to you enjoy the most?
My two favorite bands would have to be Pink Floyd and Tom Petty. I'm currently listening to Pink Floyd's newest album The Endless River as I type this. It's amazing after all these years that there's still such high quality work in these bands. My favorite genre of music would be classic rock (along with 80s metal, rock, pop). To me, it's just awesome. It's music where you can understand the words, has a nice rhythm and beat, and (again) just sounds great. Some days, I'll listen to today's metal (not much) but it's mainly classic rock for me.
4) What is the very first video game you remember playing and enjoying?
Goldeneye 007 for the N64. My parents got me a N64 for one Christmas. I remember my dad playing that game and allowing me to play as well. Unfortunately, he hasn't played video games with me since then (so...about 15ish years).
5) If you could only play one game for the rest of your life what would it be?
GTA Online. I just keep coming back to it. There's always something fun and entertaining to do.
6) What is your favorite car?
My favorite car is, well, mine. It's a screaming metal death trap. The heater barely works and I'm starting to smell gas when it's on. It feels like you're floating when you're driving. Speakers sound like absolute shit. But, god damn it, it's
mine. I bought it and own it. That means something to me.
Favorite car (that I don't own but I will one day) is a Pontiac Firebird. Oh also, this is
me driving.
7) What is your favorite meal?
I'm a simple man, just a burger and fries. Speaking of food,
8) If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I'm not too sure, to be quite honest. I'd say Florida because it's warm and I despise being cold. Just take out all the alligators, hurricanes, tornadoes, douchebag BRO guys and college kids, hipsters, and people who try and eat your face and I'd move there XD
9) What was your favorite subject at school?
In high school, I got to do more than just gay boring regular subjects (sorry for the language but at my school they just taught you the same thing
over and over and over every year). I got to do Electronics Technology and eventually got a job in a Co-op program under that. Once I graduated, I got to work there full time :-)
10) What is your favorite TV show?
The Simpsons. That show really helped me through my childhood (I'm an only child so all I had was TV and video games growing up. I live in the middle of
bum-fucking nowhere so I didn't get to go and hang out with people until I got my driver's license). I felt like I connected with the characters and the show itself was just absolutely hilarious. Other shows include X-Files, Bones, American Dad, Family Guy, Castle, Teen Titans (the original from 2005ish. I watch Teen Titans Go, but it's not as good as the original), Regular Show, Adventure Time, X-Play (does anyone else remember the video game TV channel G4? I fucking miss that), and Macguyver. There's several others I'm missing. Also, several channels on YouTube (Classic Game Room, Game Sack, Caddicarus, and Angry Video Game Nerd just to name a few).
11) Do you support a sports team, if so who and why?
Does WWE count? XD If not, then no. I have better things to do than watch 300 pound men tackle each other over a ball XD
12) Most memorable holiday/vacation?
None yet, unfortunately.
13) Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter?
Summer. It gives me an excuse to wear tube socks and flip flops! XD Also:
this14) What sound do you love?
This sound. SO BEAUTIFUL15) If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
THIS16) What job did you want to have when you were older as a child?
WWE wrestler. My, my how things have changed. Ever since the Attitude Era ended, wrestling just doesn't seem as meaningful.
17) What is the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you that you don't mind sharing?
My God, the stories I could share.
Just one of the stories I'll share is this (takes a deep breath): One night, a friend and me were bored. So, naturally, we decided to go to a strip club. Nothing says male bonding like a pair of breasts in your face. Anyways, I'd heard of this one strip club that was
just awful. As a joke, we decided to head there. "Surely it can't be that bad," I said to myself. "Surely the stories are exaggerated and not true." Jesus Christ on ice skates,
I was wrong. We went in and I sat down. This chick that had to be at least 300 pounds (I only weigh roughly 150) with an eyepatch (not a prop,
a real fucking eyepatch) and Flock of Seagulls haircut with missing teeth, a wheezing voice, and a cigarette in her mouth sat on me and yells, "Woo baby, first dance is free!" I immediately sprung myself free, grabbed my friend, and jolted out the door. Much like the Flock of Seagulls song goes, I ran!
That was my first experience at a strip club.
18) Who is your hero/role model?
My heroes are my parents. Now that may seem like a pretty lame answer, but let me elaborate. I had a great childhood growing up. I got everything I'd wanted. My parents worked very hard (and still do to this day) to provide me with everything. I love them and respect them for that. Now that I'm a grown-ass man, I do the same. Work, treat people with respect, and have a good life. Or, as Kenny Loggins in Los Santos Rock Radio says (paraphrasing here): Eat right, get plenty of sleep, don't drink, and die of boredom. Another hero would be Iron Man. I'd love to be a rich engineer who always get the ladies. XD
My role model would be CM Punk and various comic book characters. CM Punk kinda described my current job situation (just have to bide my time until a better position opens up) in his one podcast with Colt Cabana (again paraphrasing here): I'm sick and I'm fucking tired and this isn't fun anymore. As a company, I don't even know what we're doing anymore. I didn't like what I was doing and I was miserable. Fuck it! I left and I made myself happy!
19) Ever had any nicknames? What are/were they and why?
In high school, everyone called me Billy (short for Billy Ray Cyrus). Why? Because I had a mullet. Like legit, an 80s mullet. Wish I had a picture I could post. Everyone in my school was either a dumbass hick or a dumbass wanabee hick who dipped (as in, did chewing tobacco), laughed like an idot, and had a truck. As a person who despised twangy pop sung by frat boys and didn't really care for hearing, "duh hur hur truck, dur hur hur mud," every other sentence, it was a truly terrifying and confusing part of my life.
I Can't Go For That.
20) What is your biggest life achievement to date?
Wow, this question is a bit depressing for me to be quite honest. Let me just start by putting a few things into perspective here: I'm only 21 years old. Still relatively young. I'm not sure how it is across the pond, but here in America (or maybe just from where I am, I don't know) most people my age
do not want to work. They want to sit around and bitch and moan until they get what they want. Most people have a kid (or kids) and are not financially or mature-wise ready. What's really, really fucked up is that almost all of my ex-girlfriends have a kid to someone else now. It's fucking weird. Now, I have a government job. I have my own vehicle and my own bills. Yes, still live at home with my folks.
I want to work for a living. I want to be a good person. I want to have a good life and be able to say that I made that happen. I need to focus on finding a woman who has these same qualities. I have tenacity, not talent. I know exactly who I am and where I come from and what I can go back to ($7.25 an hour for a job). My biggest achievement is continuing to push forward when I keep getting knocked down. I've been laid off from work 4 times. It's frustrating. You hate the world, at times. Some days, you just have to deal with the cards you are dealt with and do the best with the circumstances you're in. I say yes to everything. I want to be a piece of coal that's molded into a diamond. I want to work and have a good life and have nice things. It's going to take a long time, but I am a success and will have a success story. Maybe in my mid 20s to early 30s I'll be ready for children. To be quite honest, I'm perfectly content with just having my dog. But, I'm just not sure yet. My main focus is to keep moving forward and to have a good life.
