Right then! 1) What is your favourite game of all time? TimeSplitters 2 on PS2. Amazing multiplayer, a wealth of characters, and an easy-to-use, in-depth map maker. Also, Hogs of War on PS1, as it was one of the few games my Dad would actually want to play on, plus it has Rik Mayall. 2) What is your favourite movie of all time? Not the best film ever made, but School of Rock is a personal favourite. 3) Who is your favourite music artist and/or what genre of music to you enjoy the most? Favourite artist fluctuates all the time. I listen to all sorts of music ranging from classic rock (The Who, Beatles etc.), to swing (Bobby Darin, Sinatra etc.), through to more bog standard rock like Feeder and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to alt rock like QOTSA, Primus, Biffy Clyro and (early) Weezer. 4) What is the very first video game you remember playing and enjoying? Balloon Kid on the original Game Boy. Great little platformer. 5) If you could only play one game for the rest of your life what would it be? Tetris. Literally. I find it bloody difficult to put that game down. Fuck me, that game is effectively cocaine. 6) What is your favourite car? Jaguar E-Type. I'm not a massive car buff but always wanted a classic car such as this. 7) What is your favourite meal? Roast beef dinner w/ mash, roast potatoes, yorkshires, and the rest. 8) If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? I love a lot of places in the US and Canada so would be tempted to say San Francisco if not for the earthquakes and New York City if not for the lack of greenery. As long as I could live nearer to a few of my friends who I can't currently see on a regular basis due to different locales, that'd be stellar. 9) What was your favourite subject at school? I didn't like music, funnily enough. I found it too restricting and didn't allow enough creative freedom. It's the same reason as to why sometimes I'd love English (when I got to write things and be creative when doing so), and yet also hate it. Overall though, I had a fantastic chemistry teacher in secondary school so I'll go with GSCE/A-level chemistry. 10) What is your favourite TV show? The Simpsons (seasons 1-10 of course), Red Dwarf and Frasier. Otherwise, I don't watch much TV these days, so I'll go with my two other favourites from my childhood - Robot Wars and Bernard's Watch. 11) Do you support a sports team, if so who and why? *Sigh* Coventry City. Isn't it fun watching us helplessly slide down the league due to the most incompetent running of a football club known to man? Supported them since I was about twelve, as I was following Man United before but wanted to support my hometown team instead. I also follow half of the teams in the Bundesliga. 12) Most memorable holiday/vacation? Ibiza with a few mates, and also walking up Ben Nevis a couple of years ago. 13) Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter? Summer all the time. 14) What sound do you love? Light rain against the window at night when in bed, or against the tent if camping. 15) If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Buy a plot of land on the Norfolk broads and build a bungalow for my Mum and Dad, 'cause they always mention moving there when they retire. Then proceed to buy myself a nice house (or several), then use the remaining money to start a business running a chain of ultimate music facilities. 16) What job did you want to have when you were older as a child? Train driver. I was a massive Thomas The Tank Engine fan when I was four. 17) What is the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you that you don't mind sharing? For my 20th birthday, a few friends were going into town to the local music festival, and dragged me along. We started the session at about 2 in the afternoon, and went to many, many pubs. Unfortunately, as it was my birthday, I was being bought two shots of sambuca/vodka/tequila/rat poison/whatever with every single pint. This means that by about 7/8pm, I felt like death. After taking a short break from the booze to walk down to the festival, we realise it's not that great and go back to the pub. At this time, my friend's brother (who is in the Navy and as such likes to think of himself as Gods gift to drinking), decided that everyone in the party (and there were quite a few there), would all chip in to order a top shelf pint. Basically, they all picked two spirits from the top shelf of the bar, and it all went into a single pint glass. I necked it, and we all went outside and sat down. Next thing I knew I woke up in hospital absolutely paralytic. My mum was sat there simply laughing at the stupidity of it all, and everyone else had gone home. So from that day on I got the nickname 'TopShelf' amongst a few of my friends. I hate it to this day. 18) Who is your hero/role model? My dad (cliche, I know). 19) Ever had any nicknames? What are/were they and why? 'TopShelf' (see above), 'Loin', and my family's go-to - 'Boy'. 20) What is your biggest life achievement to date? Deciding to quit a shitty university course after only half a term and take on a full-time job. Rather than spending three years on a course that won't develop me in any way, and leaving me out in the wilderness upon graduation, with no career prospects, I went and got a solid job in a pharmacy that pays decently and offers room to progress in a career. Well, that's about it. I kept it short.

I have work to do irl. Better pretend to do it by posting in this thread. 1) What is your favourite game of all time? Now thats a tough one. I'm tempted to say Pokemon Ruby since it was one of the very first video games I had as a kid. Nothing will ever recreate the feeling of starting that Pokemon journey for the very first time. The game was so pretty and the music was beautiful and its unsurprising that Ruby and Sapphire were best selling GBA games of all time. I usually just restart the game these days to get back that 'beginning of the journey' feel, but it will never be the same. Still, it never fails to hit me in the nostalgia's and sometimes I'll literally just leave my GBA on and listen to the music for a little while. I've sworn never to look at the remakes of Ruby and Sapphire for fear that they've ruined the feel of the originals. 2) What is your favourite movie of all time?
I'm not much of a movie person since I find it very hard to interpret story lines + symbolism and whatnot. I relatively recently watched Blade Runner and after watching it through and looking it up on the internet, I was so blown away I had to re-watch it. I was really impressed at the first watch too. Interstellar is probably the movie I've felt the greatest range of emotions about. I was genuinely scared at times and had to remind myself that I was watching it, not part of it I don't know what people who watch plenty of movies would think about that. 3) Who is your favourite music artist and/or what genre of music to you enjoy the most?
I don't actively seek out bands or artists and my music taste is messed up. I'm incredibly specific about music and often only like one or two of one artist's songs or all of them. Daft Punk's discovery is one of my go to albums, I pretty much like all of Chromeo's work and for some reason all of Hollywood Undead's albums. Oh and I love GTA Vice City's soundtrack and the rest of the decent/popular/well known 80's songs. People seemed to be happier back then by the sounds of the music. 4) What is the very first video game you remember playing and enjoying?
I think it may have been RC Revenge (which I still have too ). That game kicked off my love of racing. It may have been TOCA 2 or Ricky Carmichael's Championship Motocross though, I'm not sure. 5) If you could only play one game for the rest of your life what would it be?
Pokemon Emerald, instead of Ruby, purely for its post-game activities. Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 deserves an honorable mention. 6) What is your favourite car?
I simply cannot give a single answer to this question. Totally impossible. I'm a huge car fan. To name a few (but nowhere near limited to), Lancia Stratos, Delta, Fulvia, 037 Stradale, S4 Stradale, Volvo 242 Turbo/basically any pre-90's Volvo, Saab 900 Classic, E-type Jag, Rover SD1, P4, P5, Daimler 250 V8, Subaru SVX, Toyota Supra all sorts of other funky and rare stuff and many more that a visit to Forza 4/Horizon will probably remind me of. Oh yeah, I've never owned a car! I've had my licence for a year now but a car simply isn't practical for me money wise. I don't really need one anyway. 7) What is your favourite meal?
I like a well made Chili Con Carne from time to time. 8) If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
The US seems tempting but I hear its not all what its cracked up to be. Maybe Australia, though I'm pretty happy here in the UK. I've never been abroad anyway. 9) What was your favourite subject at school?
Resistant Materials: Product Design (crap name I know). I'm studying product design BSc at uni so its the closest thing. You could make stuff + make stuff work! I liked P.E. (sports) by the end though. I managed to sneak myself into to the 'less skilled' P.E. group where most of my friends were so I was better than most and people wanted me on their team 10) What is your favourite TV show?
I don't watch much TV these days since I don't have a TV license in my uni accommodation room (though I do have a TV for games which is legal). I like Top Gear I guess, though I'm not all that convinced with the direction the program has taken in recent years and I think the innocence has gone from its humour. I'm glad it exists though. There needs to be someone on the side of motorists in whatever form. I watch youtube more than TV, though for cars really - so Mighty Car Mods (CHOPPED!!!), Regular Car Reviews, ThatDudeInBlue and this Broughy character every now and then. 11) Do you support a sports team, if so who and why?Nottingham Forest! Nottingham born and my Granddad supports them, as did my Grandma's dad I'm told. I also work for the club on matchdays! 12) Most memorable holiday/vacation?
As I said before, I've never been abroad. None of my holidays have been exiting enough to be worth mentioning. 13) Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter? Summer. I'm not a big guy. I get cold easy. I no like. 14) What sound do you love?
Rain is nice at night time, but I like the sound of car engines. I don't even mean cars racing about. If I'm in a car, I won't really want to listen to music or mess around on my phone. I'll listen to the road noises and the whirring of the engine. 15) If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
So many cars. So little time. 16) What job did you want to have when you were older as a child?
I wanted to be a policeman! You probably weren't expecting that! My granddad was a policeman, so maybe it was in the genes. I grew away from that idea in the end for some reason in the end though and I'm glad I did. 17) What is the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you that you don't mind sharing?
Hmm. I don't think I've got much to list here. I honestly would if I did but I don't have many stories 18) Who is your hero/role model?
Huh. I guess I've never thought about that. I just try to be me and not copy things that other people say like saying 'man' all the time (I find that really cringe-worthy). 19) Ever had any nicknames?
Two of my friends started calling me Jimithy. Damn that was annoying. 20) What is your biggest life achievement to date?Getting into uni. Its not for everyone but its suiting me so far!

Its amazing how relevant some of the themes still are 30 years on from its original release. I borrowed the copy of it I watched but this is making me want to buy it myself
