Thanks to FriendlyBaron for design input when making the poster.
The first ever 24 hour real-life hours racing event.
Date and time
2nd of June, 10PM UTC
Runtime: 24+ hours
Car
Pisswasser Dominator (no restrictions). No sharing, you must own it yourself.
Track
Blaine County 96h by Sarah
Current time and weather, 96 laps
FPS
60 cap.
Voice chat
Being in a voice chat is not required.
Pits
There are 3 mandatory 5 minute pits. Time starts as soon your four wheels are off the back straight tarmac.
You must park your car beyond the wrenches and to the right, as to not block the way through for other drivers.
Should you finish the race you must send me either:
a) video proof of your pits or
b) screenshots of pit entry and pit exit with lap and checkpoint counter showing. (so, 6 screenshots total)
You are ofcourse welcome to take more breaks, but those 3 are mandatory. However, any breaks you take must be in the pits, no stopping on the side of the road unless an emergency.
As an additional note, when parked in pits for breaks you must ALWAYS leave the green path shown in the picture below clear so people can pass through.
Grids
Randomized in the lobby raceday with all participants including last minute joiners.
Additional details and disclaimers
With an event as extreme as this, I feel the need to make a few event specific rules. There might be additional rules added later, but all signups will be notified when and if they happen.
Lobby splits
Should there be any lobby splits, the lobby I get thrown into will be considered the legit one, unless I DC to my own lobby.
Spectators
If you DC from the race, you can not join back in as a spectator, nor can anyone spectate from the start. If you wish to spectate you will have to use any of the available streamers still racing.
Train spawn
Should the train somehow still spawn, the train etiquette is as follows:
Park in a line, in order of arrival at the crossing. After the train has passed there is no overtaking until the next hairpin is done (so the corner after hairpin is fair game).
If you arrive at the queue of cars as the train is leaving and have overspeed, you are under NO CIRCUMSTANCES (not even if lapping) allowed to pass and must fall in line and wait until after the hairpin. This will hopefully not be a problem as its not supposed to spawn.
Finishing procedure
First place will cross the line as per usual and end their race. After that, the next time you cross the start/finish line your race is over and position set in stone. (wether it be on a round or going into a new lap) You will then go straight in turn 1, turn around and park in order of arrival until every racer has come to a stop and positions are written down. After this has been done, you're free to either quit out or finish the race together as a pack, whatever you like.
Signups
If you are dumb enough to sign up, I expect you to have a serious attempt at finishing this event. As much of a meme it seems, it is still a serious event and I 100% expect that you're planning to finish if you sign up.
However, if by the 1st of, June 10PM the "full commitment signups" are not full, I will fill the rest of the lobby with people who would like to test their mettle and see how long they can last, in order of signup in this thread. These signups will be put on the tentative list.
