Usually people that want to play bumper cars declare their intentions early on, try to stay with them and use their aggressiveness to your advantage, a well timed brake when they try to ram you can cause them to miss you and spin out or off the track

Hugging the inside line and using R3 from time to time is pretty much all you need to do in random lobbies.

Anyone got any tips for avoiding conflict in races with randoms keep back on that first corner and it should all fall in to place from there out! If you have someone barging you to try take your position then let them past & out-race them with better lines, most of these problem players don’t know how to corner so I mostly rely on that... it’s usually the case that those who barge usually can’t race properly so just keep calm and pick those lines! (Maybe put it on no contact if you’re the host & the lobby is full of them, they should leave after that)

What I usually do is stay towards the back before the first turn because almost always there is a huge collision that many people get stuck in. By staying towards the back you can find a safe way the the crash and catch back up to the few that didn't get stuck in the collision.

Getting ahead is usually a bad idea, catchup/slip is almost always on so catchup will utterly destroy you to 5mph. Just stay around 2-3 position until you can strike for the finish.

I found that just sitting back and biding your time while they murder themselves works well. Just be careful of the reverse drivers. They like to target the innocent.

Sometimes it’s hard ppl on random track drive like a holes a lot. I try and steer clear as much as possible but it’s best to expect trouble. If I’m in a bad spot going into a corner I’ll brake early to get out of it

TBH just race your best race get through the wreckage, don't take someone out unless they initiate then it's open season on that person. Most people in random online lobbies are shit and we all know it they'll hit you off, get on the mic and say fuck you so do what ya gotta do my guy.
