There is one very negative affect to getting kicked from a low population public freeroam lobby.
You will loose the 5% discount for being commended my people. This happened to me while I was in a 3 person public lobby.
The other two voted to kick me and when I loaded in to the next lobby the notice of the 5% discount was gone.
Does anyone know how many commends it takes to get it back?
One crewmember gave me one because I gave him a special npc Sentinal XS but it still has not come back.
