I just joined so maybe this is a bit premature. But I'm having some trouble adjusting to the way things work here.
I joined to find folks to race with on pc. And while it seems this is the right place, the process of doing so is overwhelming to me right now.
Getting verified so i can join discord is first on my list, but after that, I simply don't know how you all find and organize with each other. Is this normal for a newbie like me? Any tips on getting accustomed to how things work here?
Things can be overwhelming for newer members, it does take a little time to figure out how things work within NoDo.
You can actually join our Discord server without being verified, however you can only see the channel history of our basic channels (such as announcements and help and support).
PC is our most active community so finding members shouldn't be too difficult. However, the player base on PC don't just play the retail version of GTA, they also play on a FiveM Server which has it's own separate Discord server (confusing, I know).
Fortunately we have plenty of Moderators you can contact if you're having any trouble in-game or on the forums
# of endurance race wins: 3 # of endurance race 2nd place finishes: 6
Here are some PC specific resources to get you started:
We are hosting a Welcome to NoDo Playlist every saturday to introduce you to the idea of organised events. check it out here: Welcome to NoDo playlist
For everyday casual racing, check out this thread: Meetmypyros weekday playlist. No signups or anything needed, read the post and be on discord to join, These are our current PC events that you can sign up to: PC Events
Id also recommend checking out Prismide 's Pink vs Orange which has a special GT for newer members so everyone has a chance
Hope to see you on track soon, if you have any other questions let me know!
