There's no doubt this is a racing crew's forum. A thread about mans best friend has somehow turned into a thread about cars. Millie, my first Border Collie passed away 3 years ago at the age of 14. I swore I'd never get another dog as I was devastated when she passed. After a year with no dog, we decided there was a large hole in our lives that needed to be filled. So we got Boo, another female Border Collie. She's just as awesome. 12 weeks old. 2 years old. iAP3XPRED4TORi your Bernese Mountain dog has very Border Collie like markings. I'll try to dig up an old picture of Millie when she was an 8 week old puppy. They almost look like they come from the same litter.

Lucky. Some kind of mix, we think Corgi, Jack Russell, maybe others? My wife and inlaws had her before I came into the family. I'm a German Shepherd lover though, and my family used to breed them before.

No one wanted her because she didn't have the brown eyebrows and brown paws. The only one in the liter. Fuck em all .. I think it's unique... Took her in a New York minute!

Gotta have the right markings, gotta have the right papers & pedigree blah blah blah..... Ours is from a working farm out in the country. She came with no papers, but if you're not going to show them or breed them, it doesn't matter one bit. Her dad was black & white, but her mum was tri-coloured (black, white & a bit of brown). You never mentioned your puppy's name. What did you end up calling her?

That was her name on the paperwork from her first round of shots so I just stuck with it.

Completely forgot about this thread! My sister and I, back when I was living at home, for about 4-5 years were foster carers for our local community dog shelter. I have had more dogs than I can remember and count! Small, tall, fat, skinny, scared, aggressive, intelligent, stupi...less intelligent Best days and for such a good cause. We did however have our own. Our first dog Rex was a Douge de Boudreaux, got him as a puppy from family in Mexico and the shitty laws in the Uk meant that he was kept in quarantine for 6 months! Thankfully that's been reduced now but it was valuable socialising time he never got to experience and so was quite aggressive and over protective of my family and I, he was our first dog so we did spoil him rotten Sadly at the age of 3 he died of a tumor on his arm mucho sad times </3 Since then we had taken our time to get another dog, in the end we decided to and got our current member of our family Cilla a female Staffy. Will post pics if I find some! I shall leave with this quote, not sure where I heard or saw it but haven't forgotten it since. "You're only a dog, old fellow, a dog, and you've had your day. But never a friend of all my friends has been truer than you always."

My dogs. They are Italian Spinones, sadly the white one (called Chianti) had to be put down a couple weeks ago. Both have been so lovely, and I would call them my best friends

Incredible hunters and even better companions. Thank you for sharing

They are lovely as they love to be stroked, and they never get annoyed at all. They wouldn't harm anyone, I wish I could say the same for squirrels and birds too
