I didn't buy the game until it came out for PS4, my PS3 had broken. Elegy was my default car for quite some time until I'd saved up enough for the zentorno. Having no rear window + AP pistol was awesome for contact missions. Next investment was the glorious Buzzard.

The first car i saved up for was the Zentorno and the Turismo R. But after 4 years of playing this game, i've never ever sold those cars, they are still in my garage. I sometimes change the colours of my Zentorno and just yesterday i changed into diamond blue. My Turismo R always had a Wine red + Grey colour combo and i have never changed it since the first time i bought it.
I am technically new here after joining and leaving in 2015
My first car was the dominator (which I found was quite common) I was like complete noob and didn’t know the insurance thing worked so somehow I just brought the tracker, any way I took it over mount Josiah and fell off the cliff and it died 😢
It was a black coqquete, with carbonic Z rims and a yellow line around them (kinda like F1) with a nice spoiler full body kit and completly slammed, this was back on PS3 on my cusins account, whenever i was there we would grind together, then we had to sell that car and bought a red tursimo R we really cried when we sold it
Right back in the olden days, I remembered a friend of mine had the Adder well before anyone else we played with, and racing was pretty tough when playing with them. I hardly bought anything whilst slogging it out to save up for one too. Nothing has changed since, the grind continues.
As for so many before me, my first purchase was the Armored Kuruma. Back then, I wasn't much into racing, but very much into heists. It was on offer when I bought it and it has paid itself off real quick, as it makes so many heist (setup) missions _so_ much easier, it's basically a must-have.
In fact, I often get the feeling that Rockstar have designed many of the missions with the Kuruma as the primary solution in mind. Other missions, like the finale of the Prison Break, surely haven't been designed to be solved with the Kuruma, but as it turns out... you still can.
I never use the Kuruma in races, though. And I've also never gotten the unarmored version.
