This is an overall review on the latest sports car to come out of the Arena War DLC.
For the price of $1.3 million, you can get a sports car inspired by the Mercedes AMG GT in real life. Yes, it is a bit expensive. But it is greatly worth it, as it does not suffer from any advanced handling flags that many cars from this DLC have. I don't know why the handling flags were not implemented, but I'm glad they weren't. Maybe it was intentional, an oversight, a car previously made but wasn't used in the past, I don't know. But this is a great sports car as I will go in depth in this review.
Handling gets a 9/10. Handling is great for a sports car, though it can feel a bit heavy in the corners, and can oversteer at times. Other than that, it grips pretty well around a circuit. It has the right balance of oversteer and understeer. You can easily correct the oversteer, and its not that prominent at times. It doesn't grip like the Comet SR or the Elegy, but it can grip very well and it has the speed to back it when it exits the corner.
Looks gets a 9/10 as well. Its close to the real-life model, with a nice body design. I also noticed that the Benefactor badge on the hood lights up at night, which is pretty cool. The interior is really nice, where you can actually see the gauges, though they are a bit faint during the nighttime. The customization on the car is excellent, where you can make some replicas of the AMG GTR and the AMG GT3. I really do like the design of the rear lights, though the headlights aren't bad, but I am not a big fan of it.
Sound gets a 9.5/10. The sound is the same with the Schafter V12, and sounds excellent at that. I love the sound of the Schafter V12, and it really fits the Schlagen GT well. It sound muscular but German, where its both elegant and brash. Its one of the best sounding cars in the game, and the best sounding from the Arena War DLC, and the San Andreas Super Sports DLC, combined.
Top Speed gets a 9.2/10. It has a high top speed for a sports car, making it 4th in the Sports category, 3rd in GTA races. Its no Pariah (obviously), but it has a high top speed enough to make it faster in the straights than its grippy competitors such as the Elegy and Comet SR (Pariah doesn't handle as well as the Elegy, it just has the speed to back it up in the straights). Acceleration gets a 9/10, as it can wheelspin a bit at launch, but it can take off if you can get it just right.
For fun factor, it gets a 9/10. It doesn't have the annoying advanced handling flags, making it a joy to drive in the city, the complete opposite of the Itali GTO. You can drift with it, its pretty grippy around a track, its a great cruiser in the city, and good for drag races with your friends.
In the end, it gets a 9.1/10. It is an amazing car to own, but its not perfect. Without the advanced handling flags, you don't have to be confined to the county to avoid bumpy roads. It actually has good speed, and it is a joy to drive and play around with. Thank you for reading this thread, leave a comment down below, and if you have time, answer the poll for this review.
