The Season has concluded!
Thanks to all the creators who took the time to update and remaster the old tracks!
It has been over a year, but Formula E is back!
Since Nintendo has retired from the hosting thing, you'll have to put up with the next best German doing the job.
Things will be somewhat similar to how they were in Season 2 but please read this entire post AND the spreadsheet before signing up!
You can find the link to the sign-up form towards the end of this post.
The third season of the championship will feature 8 races on 4 Saturdays starting on May 11th (11.05., 18.05., 01.06., 08.06.). On each Saturday there will be two 30 minute races with a two lap qualifying before each race. We will once again be racing the mighty Coil Volthicc.
For details, rules and regulations check the spreadsheet.

All the tracks will be eprix tracks specifically made for this championship. However unlike in Season 2 not all of the tracks will be new creations. Half of them will be (updated) drivers favorites from the past two seasons!
There are 20 driver's seats across 10 teams of 2 to fill. To sign up as a permanent driver please check your schedule before and make sure you can make at least 6 of the 8 races! I don't want this championship to bleed out towards the end, so please be honest about the amount of races you can attend. You can always sign up as a reserve. If for some miraculous reason we should get more than 20 signups, permanent drivers will be chosen on the following criteria: returning driver from past seasons, event(-completion) record, general on and off track behavior and cleanliness of driving. If we should get significantly more signups i may consider a smaller secondary championship.
To keep things interesting teams will be drawn at random in a way that ensures they are somewhat balanced. You will then be able to pick a teamname and colorscheme. If a permanent driver can't attend a race, one of the available reserves who is close on pace will be assigned.
As in the past seasons we will need a pitwatcher, preferably one as good as me in season 2 who is ready at all times to mock findnf for disconnecting from the lead. If you read the entire post please answer the tree-related question on the sign-up form with 'sinep'. It would also be cool to have a cameraman/woman for scenic shots again. Staff from past seasons will be allowed to race as non-scoring guest drivers if they wish to.
Everyone will be required to record their races on their PS4 and keep the footage available as proof of your pitstops or in case any incidents need to be reviewed and penalised.
This is a clean racing championship. If you don't stick to the rules (mostly standard NoDo incl. blue flag, rest is stated in the spreadsheet above), you will be penalised.
Penalties are specified on the spreadsheet.

This championship will be organised in a dedicated channel in Cirrus' COTM-Slack server. Being on there is mandatory. If you aren't yet, contact me and I'll get an invite sorted for you.
I hope to see many of you sign up and that we will have another fun season of this championship.
