^^ Thanks Jelly. Yeah, I'd never heard about holding forward while in a car. While doing a few races last night, I realised that I quite often hold forward naturally anyway, so I probably haven't been missing out on too much. I'll definitely make sure I do it all the time now though. It doesn't seem to make much of a difference, but every little bit helps I guess.

I truly dont believe holding forward makes any difference, at least not without bumps. Id guess it just helps boosting your car over those a bit more by getting the rear off the road to shift faster?

Ive covered this topic more thoroughly here. I would of replied much sooner but I had no idea my technique was being discussed.

I don't personally use off-roads or kerbs (part of me influenced by SB) but I understand why people use them, I mean it gives them more speed, why shouldn't you use them? I just want to race, have fun and have some great battles! At the end of the day, regardless of what crew you are in, we are all friends

Love this post. The only issue I have is this: I’m more than happy to (and have done in the past) direct people to SB, or Apex, if they’re looking for that much more serious, realistic, and enforced F1-style approach. This is true... for PlayStation owners. That was the 2nd big reason why I joined NoDo over any other crew.... the number of Xbox members in this crew. Otherwise, love everything you said. If people want a different style of race, there are other crews to join, or they can enforce those rules in an event of their own or through their own racing circuits. I also hate curb surfing, and have taking after you theme of blocking curbs. Some of it is to define a tight corner, but some is to keep the ridiculous daredevil racing to a minimum.
