I deffinetly want to see Raikkonen back in the fight. Really hard to predict who will battle for the win though.

Definitely a casual fan who follows F1 (although not consistently). Would love to see McLaren do well this year but it'll be a huge ask given a) Mercedes' dominance and b) new engine partnership. Hard to imagine anything other than another Mercedes double (which is okay if Lewis wins again).
**EDIT** On a different note what powerplant would people prefer to see in F1? A change in for the 2017 season has been mooted by Bernie Ecclestone (think he wants 1000bhp). My preference would be the 3.0L V10s - the melodic screams make the current engines sound like lawn mowers. However thinking with both feet on the ground this probably won't happen.

Maybe they will go with 4 cylinerds, fuck maybe they will even go with hybrid diesels

Nailed it. Almost the same as mine. After the first race I'm not going to make predictions this early. I'm only going to do them after the end of Saturday's practice .

6 seconds off the pace? Jesus. As a McLaren fan the past few years have been incredibly painful. However as a Hamilton fan it's also been damn sweet and continues to be. What a kick-ass lap right there. WDC2015.

Btw I've merged the predictions thread into this. One F1 thread only. Simple.

Let's start betting on which lap the beangrinder in the back of the McLarens will spontaneously combust. I'm thinking no later than lap 20 for both cars.

WOW, that's too funny. Imagine if the pit crew actually had to wear suits like that in the actual race. Or even dress up in beach clothes, would make it a lot more interesting
