endersai I like the way you think. Also, the downing of MH17 wasn't a terrorist attack or if you want to believe it was, then it was state sponsored terrorism. Sponsored by Russia and their forces in Crimea. It's well known that the forces in Crimea may primarily be Ukrainian serparatists, but they're being aided by active Russian military forces. Germany isn't a very good example either. West Germany was banned from hosting international competitions of any sort until 1951, I believe. The German Grand Prix wasn't active during the war. I like the Sochi track. It makes for good racing, but I agree with endersai that Russia shouldn't be rewarded for the shit they're doing right now. I know it's all business and $$$$$$$ (look at FIFA and Qatar and Russia for the World Cup), but these high profile events should be taken away as a part of international sanctions against nations that don't value human rights or other nations' sovereignty. End rant. TL;DR fuck Russia, I like the track, but seriously fuck Russia No the Russian Grand Prix should stay unless there is a track that is about the same as Sochi

i doubt that alot of Russia would support Putin Erm. Incorrect. He's wildly popular. Because of all the propaganda, he is the hero of the russian people. The olympics, formula 1 and wc football are the events he managed to get to russia. At least that is what the people in russia get told.

I feel it's unreasonable for you to be knowingly ignorant, profoundly ignorant, Kifflom and expect others to educate you. You have access to the Guardian Australia, whose content is fully 100% accessible and free. Even if it is left-leaning you have no excuse for not knowing something that happens in the world on an ongoing basis.
So, fuck Russia again for MH17. And honestly, Australians died on this plane. How do you not know this and defend them? Russian parents?

Except after the Dutch, Australians were among the next biggest group of passengers killed on that flight. And according to his R*SC profile, he's Australian. I just don't even.

Fuck Russia when it comes to MH17. When it comes to F1, it's all about €£$ thanks to good ol' Bernie. It has no relation to the entire mh17 situation. Almost 200 of my fellow countrymen died that day. Even though I didn't know a single one of 'm personally, ot was a hit in the face. But I still watched (and enjoyed) the Russian GP this year. Boycotting the Russian GP changes nothing.

Don't know the details.
