Feel like throwing in the towel don't be a fool
They're out to knock you out, put you down
For the count
Watch the left, watch the right, below the belt
They'll run you round and round it's plain to see
It's never gonna stop they'll run ya till you drop
There ain't no power around can keep a good man down

I'd like to start off by simply saying good morning! Caffienate early and often (click here if you enjoy coffee)! As clearly evidenced by the title, I'm going to be discussing the Crew (not not the video game, our Crew Nonchalant Dominance) and what it means to me. So sit back, grab your favorite beverage, and enjoy this fascinating short read. If you'd like, feel free to discuss and share similar stories and experiences down below in the Comments section. Alright, lets begin!
Where do I begin? Well, at the beginning naturally. I registered on the forum way back in April of 2014 (I found this out by going under the Profile section of the forum and from there it shows Date Registered). It's hard to believe that in roughly 1.5 months I'll be celebrating my one year anniversary with NODO! It's truly an honor and privilege. It's also hard to believe that the majority of people have converted from the XBox side to the PlayStation side (at least, from what I've seen). I never in my wildest dreams imagined that I'd have a track Broughy Verified and be able to interact and race with the best Crew in GTA Online. Why do I feel this way? Let me explain...
I recommend clicking here. This sums up why I happily disbanded my small Crew back in April and happily joined NODO. NODO isn't about, "ZOMG MY W/L RATIO HAS TO HAVE MORE WINS THAN LOSSES!" Or, "ZOMG YOU CHEATED YOU CAN'T BEAT ME!" Those aren't exact quotes from people, but you get the point. NODO isn't about always having to win or always about racing. NODO is all about having a good time with good people and I appreciate, value, and really respect that. Speaking of good people...
This Crew has honestly restored my faith in humanity. No joke. People who play video games, let alone GTA, normally get a bad rap. However, I've found people who I can happily message and chat with. Some people I talk to almost daily, others I haven't talked to in quite a bit but do look forward to hearing from them when the time comes around. I can hold a conversation and not have my ear screamed off. I can joke around with people. I can even get into some hilarious shenanigans in Free Roam and certain silly races and deathmatches. Whenever I first started GTA Online, I wasn't sure about it. At first, it just seemed to be people doing random things within the session with no rhyme or reason. Now, there's nothing wrong with that. But, it's nice to have some things orchestrated and have a general ground. Enter NODO with a great atmosphere, great racing, and great people!
I'd also like to say thank you to NODO. Not to bring down the mood and I don't want to get too in-depth about it, but a few of my friends in real life have unfortunately passed away. I don't really get out as much as I used to (but this will change this upcoming summer). And there's also the fact whenever I was laid off from work, I was in a pretty dark place to be honest. I was a bit depressed that I wasn't able to work. I was mad at myself (not sure exactly why) and mainly at my employer for being laid off. Thankfully, everything's worked itself out and I am able to work and provide a future for myself. Thankfully, there are good people in NODO who've helped get me through the good and the bad. I can't tell you how much that means. I sincerely thank you and appreciate it to this day.
So, this is what NODO means to me. In a way, I feel that you are my video game family (just try and follow me here) in the same sense that I consider people I work with my work family. Whenever we do play together, I have nothing but positive vibes and respect. I can actually have fun playing the game. We're all united toward a great cause. We're all in this together. Although I may not be on as much during the summer, I can guarantee you that I am here to stay. You've welcomed me with open arms and have done me right. I'll do whatever I can to give that back and have fun at the same time. You make the game fun and actually worth playing. Thank you.
