This event will be open to all consoles if there's enough interest but will mainly be on 360. The idea for this event was created by lewjen (smithyonetwelve) and is explained more in his videos: Truck racing in GTA and Introducing... Truck racing in GTAThe general idea is that we are racing in this big, heavy trucks that make small mistakes cost you a lot of time. Any truck works with this although the guardian and insurgent work best but I'm unsure whether the guardian can be used in races on old gen.
The event will span 5-6 races with one race a week and each race will be approximately 1 hour long and will use current weather. The tracks will include the 4 used by smithy in his playlist: vinewood truck racing, chiaski truck circuit, sandy shores trucking and Blaine county 24h as well as 1-2 other circuits.
I'm planning on hosting this on Fridays at about 9 GMT.

Imagine this with the big cargo trucks on an actual race track. would be glorious. Maybe have buses vs. trucks or sth. damn, I'd do that all day. Not taking part, but put me on reserve (if we're using stock cars!) My Idea is to use the Vans class(assuming the grid is big enough), then there would be the Boxville, Taco Van and Csmper to use

What do you mean by real trucks then? Excuse me, Heavy Duty trucks ideal for construction/military. Guardian is based on the F-650 Medium Duty Commercial truck. Bison, Sadler, Rebel, Bobcat. Real trucks you'd find on a real road. Like this:

I've mostly base this on smithy's idea and it best suits the insurgent and guardian for how he had described it although if enough people would rather race something else then it could get changed.
