@ anyone who can't load the race, this is how it works for me (on mobile)
Click the link once, and let the R*SC page load till it redirects to the main jobs page. Then copy the url from the link, and paste it in the R*SC window. Most times it will then load the job. I don't know how it is on a pc, because I'm always on my mobile, but this works for me.

Also if it doesn't work, don't close the 'broken' social club tab, just right click and 'copy' the link, and then paste it back into the social club tab Great minds think alike

Less than 1 week until the race, If anyone has any prop suggestions, then please let me know, i want the race to be as smooth as possible. Im thinking of moving the start/finish line to between checkpoint 14 and 15, as i think the first chicane will just cause crashes with 16 players. Let me know your thoughts.

I think the final few turns can provide a really exciting finale, I know I had one with Kobo a while back. Maybe we could just do our own starting grid where you want it?

What about a rolling start? First lap is needed anyway to sort out the grid order. Whoever get's pole in the qualyfication could take the role of pacecar. We could just take it easy the first lap, no overtaking allowed, and when we get to the start/finish straight after the last hairpin off the freeway go full throttle. That should spread it out just enough to avoid a big cluster, but not so much everybody will be hotlapping. But like Duchartre said, because we need the first lap for formation anyway, we could have a standing start wherever you seem fit.

Safetycar is only for the 1st lap, to keep the overall pace down. then the last chicane could be seen (for clarity purposes only) as the pitlane where speed is limited, and full throttle will only be alowed when on the start/finish straight. In short: Formation lap half speed, after last CP before finish race pace. Even if someone should "cheat" half a second is by going towards the last chicane to fast, but they'd have to brake anyway, so there will allways be some gap before the first chicanes to avoid a cluster.

Okay I like the idea of doing a formation lap for 1 lap, and as soon as we reach the final checkpoint before the start/finish line we go. I was thinking about making the qualifying a little bit f1 style. Where we have a Q1 and a Q2. At the minute we have 14 drivers. So we would do a 4 lap qualifying, where you will have two hot laps to post a laptime. The 6 drivers with the slowest lap time will not take part in Q2, as there grid order is as it is. And the top 8 drivers with fastest laptime will go into Q2 for 4 laps, to determine there starting grid order. This should take take 15-20 minutes and it could be really fun i think.

Cool idea about the qualy! About the start: Maybe you could put some sign or extra tirestacks on the sides to mark the position where we can hit racepace? Just for reference.
