The rollercoaster ride’s a lonely one
I paid a ransom note to stop it from steaming
Hey! What are you looking at?
She was a teenage girl when she met me...

So, Episode 4 of Life is Strange launched on 07/28/15. Gosh, where do I even begin? I guess, just to start, I should say that I have not yet completed this episode. We’re about 3/4 of the way through this episode. Why? Well, this time around, I am letting my friends play through their game save first instead of me playing through my save file first. I find this to be a bit more fun and interesting, because we all get to see the gameplay and decisions at the same time rather than me having to wait to have them play and see their reaction. You catching what I’m throwing? Also, to note, I will not be spoiling anything story wise as best as I can. I’ll describe certain scenarios, but I’m not going to spoil the game for those whom have not played it yet. That’s just f***ing rude. Ok. Now, moving on...
The beginning of this picks up exactly where Episode 3 left off. Well, obviously. It’s very hard not to spoil anything, you see. All I can say is that I was, literally, in tears at the very end of the third episode. For two long months, I had to wait patiently to find out what exactly happens. I had many sleepless nights - or delayed sleep or randomly staring into space randomly thinking - and was constantly thinking to myself, “Christ of the Rocky Mountains, what happens now?!” Again, I’m really trying my best not to ruin anything for those whom have not played Life is Strange yet, but one of my friends who I am playing the game with has broken her ankle and her foot. Basically, she cannot use either of her legs. So, the start of Episode 4 really tugged at me. The first major decision you have to make had me tear up quite a bit and, with how I answer each decision, I asked myself, “What would I do in this situation?”
As the story progresses, I find myself more enveloped with the characters. Every decision I (or we, as we are playing through this story the first time around) make I think very carefully. How will this affect Max? How will it effect everyone? There are certain decisions that I want to make, but I think to myself, “No. Maybe this isn’t the right decision. Or... maybe it is... F***! WHAT DO I DO?!?!”
I honestly cannot think of anything else to mention at this moment in time (eh? Time? DO YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE?!). All I can say is, you should seriously consider playing this game. Why? Well, here’s how I can best summarize it: If you enjoy a good TV show, a good movie, or getting lost in a good book, this game would be suitable for you. If you do pick it up, I am jealous of you because you do not have to wait two months in between episodes. Speaking of that, this will not be the last time I write about Life is Strange. Once the very last episode is published and I (and we, me and my friends playing it) complete it, I’ll sit down, think a lot, brainstorm, and write about how this game has impacted me in my real life. Believe it or not, it has helped me re-connect with people that I truly do love and care about and cherish having in my life every day. Until next time, this is CantDrive55Andy signing out. Monday, back from the dead
I'm letting it go, back for another one
Tuesday, shoot me in the head
I'm takin' it back, takin' it back
It'll take it back
Wednesday, she's looking for a friend
She'll get what she wants
Can't seem to get enough
Thursday, it's more than I can stand
I'm holding her down, holding her down
She's down again
I've gotta find a way to find her
Where could she be?
