Also benefits me because I'm not getting a PS4 for at least a month or two.

But I'm picking up Horizon 2 with it. Any other games anyone think I should get please let me know. Also still getting crew for PC! Gonna use my G27 for it!

I'm sorry but I changed by mind a few days ago. I'm getting a PS4 now so I can play GTA with all the friends I gained on PS3. I might get an Xbox One next year though.

The game feels really good, nice driving mechanics and freeroam fun. Some issues bother me though. - Basic story. - Grinding for parts.
The freeroam is fun and it has some good drving and also good scenery. otherwise it is not that fun. I'd give it 7/10.

Everything is multiplayer. But if u mean pvp-races, so not that much. I have done coop missions and they work good if ppl accept invitations, although they rarely do, so having friends that play the game is a huge benefit. From what i have heard the pvp races requires you to have all the best platinum parts to be able to compete.

Here is IGN's review. It sums it up quite nicely.

Cheers Guys. I am really tempted to buy this but I don't know whether to wait for Project Cars to be honest.

I've played the game since the midnight launch and I like nearly all of it.
The good bits: It's a World of Warcraft for cars and has pretty much always been advertised as such. Along with treating the cars as characters in any other RPG, some amount of grinding comes along with it. Especially when it's also made like a MMO in the sense that the game truly comes to life when playing with other people.
Grinding for parts might sound boring, but you dont really need the top level stuff to have a fighting chance. Because of technical issues on my end I havent been able to play PvP that much. But those few times I have joined a lobby, I have always felt that I fall behind because of my own lack of driving skills with certain cars and not because of its performance. In the car classes that I'm best in I can mop the floor with people even with cars that have a low performance level. Which brings me on to the next part.
Car performance balancing & the importance of the car level. To be blunt, the car level doesnt really mean shiz. It's just a number for the "expected" car performance, but it's by no means a number worth looking at in the long run. You can potentially tune a car to your liking by on purpose putting on worse parts, like worse tyres or suspension. This will bring the car level down, but that doesnt mean you're at a disatvantage. And to my surprise the cars are balanced really well as there only appears to be a few cars that might be worse overall. But the majority of the cars are competitive, so pick whatever you feel you drive best in.
So what about the economy? Having the MMORPG-like structure that it has, you'll have to work for your money. That's not to say it takes ages to get money together, but keep in mind that this is meant to be the WoW of cars, how NFS World was meant to be. And hey, ALL cars and parts can be bought for in-game cash or paid currency. The parts you get have to be earned, so you cant buy your way to victory. All it will do for you is save you some time once you've gotten a decent amount of parts in a particular class (every part unlocked can be bought for all cars in the class you used to unlock it, so really it's enough to boost one car in each class and you dont need to grind for parts anymore).
And lastly the AI drivers, your competitors in races. There's not much to say really. There appears to be a set of drivers for each class, each one with their own level of aggression and jackassery. The AI will adapt their pace to yours, so if you're a slow driver the AI wont just speed away. But the AI will also reach the insane speeds you do, so the most aggressive drivers will often go flying off the road in a quite spectacular manner because they just dont know when enough is enough, so hilarity ensues. Is the race too difficult? Then slow down for a few seconds, problem solved.
--------
So, the bad things?
A little fishy collision detection when bumping into traffic but you should try to avoid traffic anyway so see it as a random chance at getting away with your mistakes.
Something that I feel is borderline game breaking though is how the traction works. It's really really rare that it happens, but still irritating when it does. If you slow down from high speed, like after hitting something, and you're in high gear and at high-ish RPM the traction for the wheels can become non-existant for a moment. But as already mentioned it's really rare so for all I know it might never happen to you.
TL;DR One of the most balanced racing games I've seen to date, very predictable AI "rubberbanding" (more like adaptive pacing) that's context-sensitive which can be used as a toy when no f's are given. While grindy, it's also sort of the point. It's basicly a World of Warcraft with cars.

The car physics to me feel really unresponsive, I've put all possible dead zone settings to a minimum aswell. I could just be used to gta though. still getting the jist of it tbh, alot to take in and I've just started

I have completed the story of the crew and gotten about four cars with all platinum parts, and I gotta say I still wanna play more. Theres something about it that keeps me coming back. Even though the voice acting could be a bit naff at times I still really enjoyed the story. I have brought the season pass for the crew and I look forward for the future of this game. I have one thing to say though, no Subarus makes me sad
