So I've experienced and heard that the default settings suck, atleast for controller. I wanted to make this thread, so we can share settings and improve. I'll start off with my settings:
Steering Deadzone: 15 Steering Sensitivity: 0 Throttle Deadzone: 0 Throttle Sensitivity: 30 Brake Deadzone: 10 Brake Sensitivity: 15 Controller Filtering Sensitivity: 50 Steering Sensitivity: 0
Speed Sensitivity: 65
My settings work pretty nicely imo, it's not too twitchy and not too much sensitivity.
What are your settings?

I guess these settings only apply for pc? cant find these for ps4.. I suppose you are talking about Steering Deadzone, Steering Sensitivity, Throttle Deadzone, Throttle Sensitivity, Brake Deadzone, Brake Sensitivity, Controller Filtering Sensitivity, Steering Sensitivity, Speed Sensitivity, etc? They are there on PS4. From a menu (so not in a race, damn game) you should go to options&help and there should be controller settings. It might feel weird, but on most menus in pCars you can use L1/R1/L2/R2 to switch to another option category. Is it possible you have missed that?

Something that I just discovered via an Apex Stalkers member about Patch 1.4 * Game Pad - Tilt Control support implemented to allow controller tilt to be used to control the vehicles. All you have to do is co into your controller assignments and tilt left/right when changing the steer left/right inputs. I've just tried this out and for those of us that are a little bit financially challenged to afford a wheel, this seems like a decent alternative. It does take some getting used to though. Even after 30 or so laps I'm still spinning out every so often. I would highly suggest dropping down your steering deadzone to 0 and also dropping the steering sensitivity a little bit, mine is now set to 35, but that one is more a personal preference thing. It's far from perfect but to me, it is definitely a step up from the analog sticks. I can be much, much smoother in my steering and minor adjustments to my track positioning are now much easier to do. I highly recommend this for anyone that doesn't have a wheel...just make sure you do a lot of free practice laps to get used to it before you hop into an online race

So I've gotten my controller sensitivity settings to a point where I can actually drive in the damn game quite happily. (Whoever set up the sensitivities defaults was clearly on fucking acid. Seriously, what the fuck?) But I have a problem with it being ridiculously twitchy.
This means that I'll lose control in a chicane half of the time because, instead of letting me turn into a corner smoothly, it snaps from 50% lock left to 50% lock right with no damper whatsoever. It means I can't keep it in a straight line on a straight. It has made the game completely unplayable for me.
Any ideas?
