Can you use powerline via extension cables? It’s my only option. Why not get a longer Ethernet cable? Because my parents don’t allow a 50m Ethernet to run through the house. I’ve alread got one and wall tacks too, but they won’t allow me to use it. Powerline is my best bet.

Both speeds should doubled by the end of this year due to an upgrade on isp side.

It is a business internet connection, not a lot of private people are allowed to get these without a company, but they make exceptions. Since i am a high volume user they allowed to use it so By end of the year they should be able to deliver 400Mbps/50Mbps and by 2020 they trying to get 1Gbps/1Gbps

This ISP pulled single mode fiber to my apartment recently... for free! If there were any way to get more bandwidth here for anything resembling a remotely reasonable cost, I'd do it... But the consistently low latency is nice. REAL IPv6 too!

Includes on-site support in less then 4 hours, which could be needed for businesses though. How much do you pay for yours?

Private (for the normal people, but the fastest one available) i used to pay 80-85Euro. This included Internet 200Mbps down/20Mbps up with a 750GB datalimit each month, which we would reach with Youtube, streaming/watching streams, netflix and euh being a pirate if you know what i mean a set phoneline in house which was free to call to non mobile between 16.00 and 07.00, incl the cable you use to get TV, but also incl digital TV box would be an extra cost Now i pay around 90Euros for 200Mbps/25Mbps 3TB limit, the speeds will be doubled by end of the year and in 2020 they are gonna try go get 1Gbps/1Gbps I got a set phoneline with 24/7 free calling to other set phones and 2000 minutes free calling to mobile 24/7 and also the same TV/DTV option included. So ATM im paying only 5 euro more for a little bit less, which helps me a lot for streaming and netflix. But once we receive those upgrades and pay the same price, its pretty insane upgrade for that price. Now i called the support center of my ISP with some questions about this, and they mentioned that not everyone in Belgium is allowed to do this. They only make exceptions for certain people who push the limits (data), which i did pretty much each month.

Holy crap they are so close to Germany NotLikeThis This makes me happy that we pay 45 euros for 100Mbps/100Mbps no datalimit, 3ct/min per landline call tho. Next stepup would be 200/200 and phone flat for 50 euros. I'm trying to convince my parents to do that, maybe they'll do it when our current contract has ended. We could also get 500/500 for 80 euros, or 1000/500 for 160 euros. But that's pretty pointless as most websites would be bottlenecking then.

Data caps have always been used in Belgium, Due to my age i come from an era where we had 10GB limit, which i reached within 5 days of a new month
