What tracks are around you? What tracks do you most frequently go to? For me it'd either be Watkins Glen or Lime Rock Park (And Pocono for "oval" racing, even though it's a triangle. They have several road course configs there, too). Watkins Glen is in the same state as me, but LRP is a much shorter drive. Pocono is only a few miles longer of a trip. Can't think of any others that might be closer. Haven't been to any of them, though I'd like to change that. As for local tracks, I've only ever been to races at a 1/4 mile track called Bethel Motor Speedway. Used to watch Bandoleros, Pro Stocks, Street Stocks, BMS Modifieds, Sportsmans, Legends, 4 cylinders, (and more!) and sometimes demolition derbies in the infield. Haven't been there in years, though. What about you all?

Manfeild Park is not far from me, only about 15km up the road. It hosts the Toyota Racing Series which is like a feeder series to F1 (Daniil Kvyat raced and won here).
Also close to me is Arena Manawatu, which hosts stock car racing in the main stadium along with rugby. Basketball, netball and football also get played at the arena in indoor 'halls' or outdoor playing fields.

Mallory Park is a ten minute drive down the road.
Silverstone is an hour away.

Euh... Being Dutch, I think I'm obliged to say Zandvoort. There are two other small tracks (of which one is more like a rallycross track I believe) but they aren't worth mentioning, as Zandvoort is pretty much the only 'proper' circuit we have...

I think Spa. I'm not Belgian, but for me it's closer to home then Zandvoort. People from my province are called 'Reserve-Belgians' anyway Only have been there once (during the F1GP last year) but it was great at the Kemmel straight. Really had a nice experience And when I worked for a caterer, I was working in the VIP box next to the straight of Zolder circuit for a big part of the Zolder 24h. Didn't have to do anything besides pour a drink every once in a while and clear of some plates, so the majority of the time I was at the balconywatching the cars

For me it's the Circuit de Catalunya. It's the most famous circuit in my region, I live 5 minutes away from it and I have actually participated in a race there... ...on foot, sadly. This is me before the start

Okay being serious now I'd have to say Oulton Park for real life as I've been there for car fest and raced it quite a bit on Project CARS so far but I don't feel that much of an attachment to it.
One track I would consider my home is this:

I think i've only ever been once as a kid, but Oulton Park is about 5 minutes down the road for me, and my granddad used to work there so I pretty much know the histroy behind the place. I am tempted to go and watch the superbikes later this year though.

Brands Hatch is under an Hour away, used to go a lot when I was little with a family that lived over the road, the Dad worked for some petrol company at the time and always had free tickets.
Few Kart Tracks close as well I used to work as a marshal on weekends at Buckmore Park and Lydd for the Events.

Not worth mentioning? There's a Dutch MotoGP race every year, and it's not in Zandvoort.

I live about 30 minutes from Donnington Park
In gaming terms, it would have to be this.

The closest to me is Brands Hatch, about an hours drive away and one of the friends works in the media centre there too. Snetterton is a little bit further away but I've also been there. I've been to both Brands and Snetterton to watch my dad race this absolute beast! A little closer to home (well former home as I have since moved) used to be Crystal Palace Circuit. Sadly it was closed in 1974 which was well before I was born. Growing up when we used to go up to the park my dad would tell me about the circuit and we'd walk the layout of the track. They now have an RC track on what used to be the back straight and I used that a lot as a kid and in my teens. I used to love RC cars but never got into is seriously/competitively. My dad went to a watch a couple of races there as we used to live literally 2 minutes walk from the park. EDIT:This isn't exactly a home race but my sister currently lives 20 minutes on a bus from this place. When I was over there visiting in October I went to this so it's kind of a home from home, sort of...not really...oh well lol
