The way we're making the teams for PS3 is the way it ussually gos. The reason the PS4 guys got decided by who signed up is just because there isn't much to choose from. There's been interest expressed from over 8 players though

Well everyone, I won't change the way the particpants will be decided. I know that we want to showcase how nice the PS3 community is, and that "being the fastest" has nothing to do with that. But a crew vs crew event is a serious event where we can actually be competive.
But everyone, please keep in mind that the playlist after the official crew battle is open for EVERYONE. We can show how nice the PS3 community is that way. So to everyone who still wants to race everyone who came all the way from PS4, you still can.

katenhond2010: It's not affecting me because I won't be in the 'main' playlist, but for me it's a little unclear how you want to select the ps3 players. You want to do the entire list once to see who's the fastest? Or you'll publish the PL and let people submit there best laptimes for each race? Could you clearify some more please? Just out of interest. Edit: and how come the best 5?

How are the tracks chosen? Do we vote or something?

How are the tracks chosen? Do we vote or something? I was unsure about this aswell, I think we can choose ourselves though, if we want to vote or not.

A serious track suggestion: Laps of Lunar Loops. Also, this thread should be moved to ps3 events in my opinion, nobody ever looks here.

I'd love to take part in this, as would most of the PS3 side. I might be one of the quicker racers, but i'd rather see some of the people who make the PS3 NoDo community so great taking part over myself. I feel the exact opposite way, I want to take part and I do have a spot according to Katenhond, but I have a feeling I would have not been able to earn the spot like the normal PS3 players if I had to qualify. I'm going to need to practice a lot for this... Even more than I did for that Jester V Buffalo race from a long time ago. That race was a blast... I kinda want to race Buffalos again as well. That would be fun!

If you have been chosen and not had to qualify I think Lucas should just decide who he thinks should rep PS3. If we don't get picked it's tough.

I've told to Mid and Pundip that they could join because they're the commisioners of PS3 and PC. Pundip offered to enter the qualifications, so maybe there will be 6 available spots after all. Commisioners represent the community, so that's why they got offered a spot.

What is the thought process behind picking the teams then? 5 people who qualify, yourself and 2 others? What's the thought process behind those guys?
edit: just read the above posts inbetweeners Jamie's and this one. (I had this reply open for a while, while I was doing other stuff.
