Prime and I have already talked about this and in the event we need to change services we will move to Mumble. Prime already has experience with Mumble and I think it will be a great alternative.
But, we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

Ascot Murmur (the server component of Mumble) is a free download, and can be run on any internet connected linux/unix based pc, be that paid for hosting or a machine on a domestic internet connection and as such can have as many slots as bandwidth allows. That pricing is only relevant if you want to pay for limited slots with someone else to manage it for you.

The project's website is here: wiki.mumble.info/wiki/Main_PageUnfortunately mumble.com needs to make it more clear that it's not affiliated with the Mumble project. "Mumble.com is owned and operated by LightSpeed Gaming, LLC and is not affiliated with the Mumble Project"

you can get non-commercial license from TS for free and run your own servers with up to 512 slots. i got a spare rig for torrents and various stuff so i THINK i could host a server, well that's if i buy a static IP from my ISP. NPL's are for those that wish to install and administer their own TeamSpeak 3 server. NPL's are strictly for NON-PROFIT entities who wish to increase their TeamSpeak 3 server capacity to allow a maximum of 2 virtual servers and 512 slots. Non-profit entities include, but are not limited to, organizations such as online gaming clans, guilds, or community groups who utilize TeamSpeak software in a manner in which profit or gain of any kind is NOT intended. oh wait, they say i need a paid domain for that. or i could get a cracked one from TPB
