The original Super Mario Bros on the NES was my first ever game; a joint Christmas present for me and my brother. I think we also got Snake, Rattle and Roll at the same time but it was obviously second placed to Mario.
I honestly don’t remember owning many NES games. I borrowed from friends and from the video rental place up the road, but those two are the only games I actually remember owning.
I remember countless hours of Spyro 2+3 and Crash Team Racing with my brother and my cousin, and now I enjoy watching speedruns of them. Also really hyped for the remastered versions coming in two weeks.
Like basically anyone my age, it all started with the triple OG super mario bros. One of my earliest memories is being too young to realize that you can cross single-block pits by just running over them.
theres this one PS1 game, that I cannot remember the name for the life of me. It was like cartoon characters and it was a skating game. I had the game when I was like 4 or 5 and my mom got rid of the ps1 and games when I was like 7. Thats the first game I have legit remember. A close second would be Pokemon sapphire on the gameboy. Great game, my cousin gave it to me when i Was like 4 or 5. Loaned it to a "friend" in the 9th grade, and he lost it and moved to texas and never gave it back to me. so yeah, the first games I have ever played has been lost in some way or another.
