The Rally Tournament Friday at 9pm UTC. Start date: August 7th. End date: August 10thThis event will test your driving skills on both dirt, pavement, in the dry, in the rain, and a mixture of the four. This is a time trial event where I'll time each competitor as they run through the course. Rules:
We will be running two playlist. Part one this week and part two on Monday August 10th. Both will start that the same time as listed.
At the start we will form a line and one by one we will go through course. Since I would like to compete as well I will always go first so that I can time the other competitors. For my run I would ask if someone else could time me and then tell me the time so I could wright it down .After completing the course the drivers will pull over and wait for the others to finish their runs. We will all finish the race when I say so to stop someone from accidentally starting the end timer. If your car gets stuck you can respawn.
Teams are allowed but not needed. Visual upgrades are up to you.This event will be limited to 8 drivers (other than me). This will keep the event from taking forever and the tracks where built in areas that made having 16 player starts almost impossible. Sign up:
To sign up by replying "yes i'm in" but also make sure to put your gamertag. Remember only 8 drivers can sign up for this because otherwise it would take forever. also this allows me to have more options for tracks. >However, reserves are allowed since there is usually someone doesn't show up. Also people this is the submission board so people are NOT supposed to be signing up until the event is approved. No sense in having signups for events that are not even approved yet and possibly will have changes made to them.

impossible for me to make any decisions currently because of the unknown fall schedule. sounds like a fun event def joining if i have the time.

Yeah now thinking about it school starts in 2 weeks. Friday at 8 gmt will be 1 pm my time when I am still in school so if this event I sent kicked off by this week I cannot participate unless there is a 2-3 hour time change

Yeah now thinking about it school starts in 2 weeks. Friday at 8 gmt will be 1 pm my time when I am still in school so if this event I sent kicked off by this week I cannot participate unless there is a 2-3 hour time change well, i can do one hour but any later and it will start getting too late for everyone else |

My only question is, what happens to the guys who are going to finish in the bottom half? If this is based on the time people set on the P2P, how can they set a time if they don't finish?

If this is based on the time people set on the P2P, how can they set a time if they don't finish? no one finishes until i say so, the courses are built so that there are clear starts and finishes but the final check point will be a good distance from the finish to allow everyone to pull over and wait for the others |

So you plan on manually timing people from the moment they leave the start line to the moment they cross the finish line (not cp)? I'm curious as to how this will be done because I was thinking of hosting a hillclimb event and wanted it to be more of a meetup with everyone gathered around watching etc.
How do you plan on getting from the start line to the finish line before they finish?
