Final overall standings for the championship below followed by a full chart of Stage 4's time cuts! Congrats to Superstepa_, ovivoJR, and doompenguin44 on achieving podium. It was a pleasure having all the participants join!
DrKloden: My disconnect from Stage 3 was a bummer because that was the race I wanted to do most.. would've gotten 3rd or 4th, but... it wouldn't have changed my 4th in the Championships either way. I'll be assisting others in organizing their events before thinking about a possible Season 2 for this one, and I'm busy raising the bar on advanced prop placement for track design.

Stage 4 - Special Stage Rally - Final Race Results
DrKloden commentary on Stage 4: It was amazing winning the epic and brutal Grand Tour de Blaine Dirt, the queen stage of the day. But what's more amazing is.. this entire 4 week event's overall winner was literally decided on the last turn of the last race!! ovivoJR was actually only one second off getting the best lap.. which he would've gotten had it not been for a crash on the last turn. The bonus points for best lap would've kept him the championship lead.
(wins are in bold)

DrKloden is pleased to announce The Mid-Week Speed Boost,
a 4-part endurance tournament on Wednesdays coming this September!
a 4-part endurance tournament on Wednesdays coming this September!
The winner of the Championship is awarded a $25 Amazon.com Gift card!
The concept for this endurance race championship is that a driver should have two challenges: the other drivers and the very course itself. These four days of racing will test everyone's consistency capacity.
Schedule:
The 1st and 4th stops in this series are iconic race classics and among the most played and most liked race courses coming out of the competitive GTA V racing scene, with over 7k & 8k plays respectively and continuing to rise every day. These are paired with the 2nd and 3rd stops in the series which are brand new courses, crafted from a great many hours of thoughtful tweaking.
Stage | Date | Track | Class |
1 | Wed, Sept 2, 5pm UTC | Grand Tour de Blaine | Supers |
2 | Wed, Sept 9, 5pm UTC | Autopia Agility GP | Sports |
3 | Wed, Sept 16, 5pm UTC | P1 [Le Mans] ELYSIAN | Supers |
4 | Tues, Sept 22, 5pm UTC | Rally Sprint TT | BF Bifta |
Regulations:
-This chart indicates the points awarded for each finishing position after each race. As you can see, the delta between points awarded is smaller than for example Formula 1, and controversially puts a much higher emphasis on consistency.
-A driver's points will be added together after each race to his or her total points to indicate position in the overall championship.
-Total current points in the overall championship will be updated on a chart at the top of this page within 24 hours after each race.
-The driver with the most total points after all 4 days of racing will be crowned the champion of the series and will be awarded a $25 Amazon Gift Card by the organizer, DrKloden.
-Bonus Points: There will be 5 points awarded to the driver with the Best Lap time of each race (indicated by a star in post-race results), regardless of which position they finished in the race. This is the only type of bonus points available in this event.
-Standard No-Do racing rules apply.
-With these rather challenging courses, 1-driver crashes may be more frequent. As noted in standard No-Do racing rules, it is crucial to check for approaching traffic before re-entering the track.
-Overtaking: The combination of a technical course with very fast cars means overtaking is both difficult and dangerous. This is not Sedans where you comfortably cruise by someone. When overtaking, remember: A little patience goes a long way! Chances are, the first turn you reach another car, probably isn't going to be the best opportunity for a clean overtake. Careless driving, which includes but is not limited to reckless desperate overtake attempts when there was no chance of it going nicely, may be penalized by the race official(s).
-Non-NoDo Drivers may be permitted to enter the event, if they are sufficiently vetted by NoDo member(s) as a safe driver who understands NoDo and event rules.
-There is no obligation to attend all 4 races, you may miss some and still freely enter later races in the event.
-In-game time and weather is noted in individual race details below.
-There will be a single GT group for all drivers scored together.
-The maximum number of race drivers is 29. (One slot reserved for a safety/pace/official car)
-There are no mandatory pits. Freely use pits when needed for repairs. Please re-enter the racing line after a pit as carefully as possible. You may only reset a car if in an unrecoverable position.
-If you disconnect at the beginning of the race, there will not be restarts or relaunches.
-If you disconnect from the race, it will be considered an engine failure, and your finishing position will be after the race finishers, in descending order of disconnecting. For example, if there are 20 starters and 16 finishers, the first person (near beginning of race) to disconnect will get 20th place and last person (towards end) to disconnect will get 17th place.
-If you disconnect you will still be awarded points from the above finishing position points chart!
Start & Race Procedures:
-Event begins at 5pm UTC. (The same as Daily Playlist time) It will be replacing Pyro's Daily Playlist on these event Wednesdays only.
-At 5pm UTC, drivers will be invited to an invite-only session.
-The following applies to the first three races of the event. The last day of racing will have a different start and race procedure. See Stage 4 race details for more information.
-At 5:10, a One-Shot Qualifying will begin. Professional cooperation will be appreciated so we can get the qualifying done quickly and smoothly in order to begin the endurance race as quickly as possible.
-The One-Shot Qualifying will be a one lap Non-Contact Race on that day's track (Noon & Clear).
-When this one lap race launches, Drivers will stack their cars together on the start line to have the same starting position.
-At the sound of a particular horn, the Qualifying begins.
-The results of this one lap race will be the qualifying results and it will be the order of the endurance race starting grid.
-If you disconnect from the qualifying, your endurance race start position will be after the last qualifier.
-If you show up late and completely miss the qualifying, you may still enter the endurance race, and your starting position will be after those who disconnected from the qualifying.
-After qualifying we will proceed to start the endurance race in around 5 minutes. Use this time to use the restroom.
-Parc fermé rules apply! This means you must drive the same car for both qualifying and race, and no modifications to the car are allowed in between qualifying and race. Do not go near Los Santos Customs in the private session in between qualifying and race.
-Starting Grid: each race will have a custom, more spread out starting grid. It will be closer to several car lengths between cars, rather than the 1 car length that is traditionally used. This is to encourage a very clean start. This is 20+ drivers with fast cars, not 9 drivers with slow cars such as seen in the MCEC, so a safe start will be critically important. The gaps in starting grid is not perceived to be too punishing, as it only represents what would be naturally seen after a few turns anyway. We're simply skipping the aids because the event is taken relatively seriously. If you were to crash in qualifying and have a bad starting position, there will be plenty of time in the endurance race to move back up. All drivers will start the race at the same time, by the sound of the explosion of the safety car. (A car explosion sound carries much farther on the map than a sticky.)
-Race length/lap number has been calculated by roughly 1hr10min to 1hr12min worth of a decent lap, so each race is expected to be no longer than 1hr15min.
Individual Race Details:
Stage 1: Grand Tour de Blaine
September 2nd, 2015
5pm UTC
Rockstar link: Click here to bookmark for practice
Class: Supers
Car restrictions: Turismo is forbidden
Tyres: Any
Custom modifications: Any
In-game time: Current
In-game weather: Clear
Laps: 12
Additional Stage 1 information:
-There will be a strict blue flag rule for this race and this race only. The other races have standard blue flag rules (ie: politeness, situational awareness, and communication). This strict blue flag means if you are getting lapped by the leaders, you must allow them space on the racing line to the (ideal) extent that your presence does not effect their lap time. If you're getting lapped in this race, it means you're more than 30 seconds per lap on average off the leaders' race pace, in other words more than 10%. You are well out of contention at this point, meanwhile every second counts for the leaders in this demanding race.
-The Turismo is prohibited for this race only because after demonstration of it driving with a T20 on this track, it takes partially different lines, as it's slower on some parts and faster on some parts. Mainly, this course in all it's zig-zags is already quite dangerous for overtaking while cars are taking the same lines, and so we don't want to exacerbate this fact further than it needs to be.
Stage 2: Autopia Agility GP
September 9th, 2015
5pm UTC
Rockstar link: Click here to bookmark for practice
Class: Sports
Car restrictions: None
Tyres: Any
Custom modifications: Any
In-game time: Noon
In-game weather: Current
Laps: 14
Additional Stage 2 information:
-This race course is made up of 3 loops for each lap, as each of the loops have a variation in the middle of it. You will spend roughly 60% of the time on the shared part of the course.
-In the latter portion of the race, there may be a fairly large amount of traffic on the shared part of the course, and less on the 3 unshared parts.
-You can experience lapping on the shared part of the course by being only an average of 7 seconds or more off the leader's pace per lap, which may be a large number of drivers. But to be lapped on the unshared part requires an average of 30 seconds off the pace of the leaders per lap. And so naturally, there isn't really a blue flag on the shared portion but perhaps it could be suggested on the unshared portions. However, this may be considered very confusing so you probably don't have to worry about it. Who you're racing against or not may get disorienting, which is the intent of the course design.
-Prudent, careful driving when near other cars will be important on this very close quarters track. A little patience when trying to overtake will go a long way!
Stage 3: P1 [Le Mans] ELYSIAN
September 16th, 2015
5pm UTC
Rockstar link: Click here to bookmark for practice
Class: Supers
Car restrictions: None
Tyres: Any
Custom modifications: Any
In-game time: Noon
In-game weather: Current
Laps: 30
Additional Stage 3 information:
-Avoiding collisions may be more challenging at the high speeds seen here. Please see notes about overtaking in the general rules above.
-Drivers who are on average (crashes play a factor) 6 seconds or more off the pace of the leader can expect to be eventually lapped, which may be a large number of drivers. Standard No-Do blue flag rules apply. (ie: politeness, situational awareness, and communication)
Stage 4: Rally Sprint TT
September 22nd, 2015
5pm UTC
Rockstar link for playlist of all 5 tracks: Click here to bookmark playlist for practice
Full list of the 5 segments of Stage 4:
Rally X Chaparral (offroad)
Vinewood Hill Climb (offroad)
Barren Hill Challenge (offroad)
Keep Rubber Side Down (go-kart)
Grand Tour de Blaine Dirt Edition (offroad, pictured above)
-There are 5 segment races for this day of racing: 4 offroad and 1 go-kart, (all driven in BF Bifta)
-Custom car required to purchase: BF Bifta (any modifications/tyres are permitted)
Additional Stage 4 information:
-The previous stages I introduced a new experimental concept into our NoDo racing: the spread out starting grid, to simulate skipping the first couple (aids) turns. With this day of racing I'd like to introduce another experiment, real Special Stage Rally Time Trials.
-In Rally Motorsports, and other sports such as bicycling, there are several shorter accumulative time trial stages. Your finishing time of each stage is recorded and added together with previous legs of the event, and the best accumulated time by the end of all stages wins. The finishing position of each individual stage is of little importance if you're close to the others time-wise. Stage 4 of Mid-Week Speed Boost will be this, as a playlist of several shorter races which act as segments of the overall timed race day.
-So, if you beat someone by 30 seconds in the 1st race, and he beats you by 10 seconds in the 2nd race, you're still 20 seconds ahead at that point in time in the Rally TT. Screenshots will be taken and times will be calculated after the fact, so you may have a hard time figuring out how you're doing along the way. You can ignore your current race position and just focus on being consistent.
-There will be a "safety net" established for having a bad individual race which is, all drivers who get a DNF will be given the same time as the last person who got a finishing time for that race. Because of this, by the end of the day the bottom half of the field will finish with overall fairly similar times, separated by the few races where they might have gotten a finishing time. Naturally, these time trial segments will all be Non-Contact Races. Some of the courses will have small and wide starting grids, in which case the start is in-game start. For the courses with larger starting grids, we will gather and stack before starting like we did in qualifying in previous days of racing.
-Accumulated time added together afterwards will be the results chart for Stage 4, then this will be applied to the overall points chart.
-Because of the safety net for the bottom half, anyone may have the opportunity to get a mid-pack or top half final result even if you have a couple horrible races on this day.
-You must purchase and tune a BF Bifta, if you don't you'll have to drive a stock Bifta. This is the only specific car purchase for this event, in order for the event to have minimal financial impact on the drivers.
-If you enter any segments with any car other than the BF Bifta, you will be spared from disqualification but you will be given safety net time for that segment regardless of how you placed.
-If you disconnect from any segment, you may get safety net time for that segment, and may rejoin for the next one. Please notify race official(s) if you need an invite to get back in quickly.
-The best lap bonus points will be derived by the best lap of the queen segment of the stage, Grand Tour de Blaine Dirt Edition, pictured above.
-Along with a posted chart of points for the overall championship standings, there will also be a full results chart of all the Rally's segments and each driver's time gain/loss per segment posted on this page.
Signups: Signups are not mandatory and "walk-ins" are permitted, however if a race fills up (max 29 race drivers), signups will get preferential entry.
