I was just wondering if there was anyone else here who does listen to this type of music and what songs they're listening to. I like to collect opinions so if you could tell me what you like about them too that would be nice.

Electronic music and dance music is what I grew up with in the 90s and early 00s so naturally it makes up for a huge bulk of my listening, although more so electronic rather than dance.
I'm more into the experimental and dark side of things, from dark ambient to IDM to industrial, but I like all sorts really.
Coil Autechre Aphex Twin Burial múm Boards of Canada Lustmord Susumu Yokota Throbbing Gristle Yellow Swans Broadcast Tim Hecker Ben Frost The Haxan Cloak Clock DVA Kraftwerk Oval Portishead Rapoon Rhythm & Sound Surgeon / British Murder Boys / Regis Tangerine Dream FSOL
I also like 90s and 00s dance acts, although generally only their albums from those eras:
Fatboy Slim Leftfield The Prodigy Underworld Faithless Orbital The Orb Lamb

wow, that's a lot. I really just jumped on the bandwagon in about 2012 when it became popular so i actually don't know most of these artists and it's cool to hear so many new (or old i guess XD) names. There are only a few artists i really come back to regularly but there are a few genres i like to stick to. I mostly listen to Progressive house, Electro house, regular house, complextro and more recently trap and future bass. I occasionally listen to dubstep but good dubstep seems to be hard to come by.
keeping this in mind which artists on that list do you think i should check out first?

The second list is probably the most accessible and definitely the most danceable of the lot. That's where I'd start.

I'd say I'm a fan of Dance Music, more of the 90's and 00's era though, a lot of this pop infused EDM stuff is garbage. There is still 3-4 great dance tunes that rise up every year though and often being the soundtrack to summer.
Acts wise, Disclosure are producing incredible stuff atm, the first album of theirs was a masterpiece!
Going back there are so so many good songs, way to many to mention, if you ever do take a trip in to the 90's stuff though, Forver Faithless(album) is well worth a listen too, not a bad song on there!

My favs are not from the 90's and 00's but Galantis and a lot of artists on Monstercat are some that i like to hear. Also Hardstyle and TEK-style is something that is famous in Belgium and i'm a really big fan of it too.

I Love monstercat! As for hardstyle and Tek-style i've never actually listened to so i honestly have no clue what they sound like. If i was to listen to either of them what songs would you recommend?

For TEK i recommend Mark With A K - forever young, it is not melodic in the first drop and thats normal. For hardstyle i can recommend Wildstylez & Brennan Heart - Truth or lies and also Brennan Heart & Jonathan Mendelsohn - Imagonary. Also live sets from REVERZE 2015 are fun to listen too.
