I've had this issue for quite a while, I've posted about it on the Rockstar support page. They did responded and told me to reset my profile settings on GTA V. However it turns out that didn't work. They did offer me other solutions but it all involved like restoring the default setting on your PS4 or reformat the PS4, etc. I didn't do any of those because I was lazy to set everything back up.
So time has passed by and I've learned to deal with it. However later on I found out what was causing this bug to happen. It doesn't really matter on where you place the props as some people on the GTA Forums pointed out that it happens in the parking lot in Vespucci beach. It seems like this has something to do with the dynamic props being buggy. Apparently, if you were to scroll through the dynamic props category, after spending like a couple of minutes on the creator, it activates the bug. Causing one of the props to obviously disappear. So my solution, don't scroll through dynamic props. If you really need to use dynamic props for whatever you're doing, especially if you're doing a wall ride race or anything like that, place the dynamic props then immediately save the job. *If you also have no plans on adding dynamic props to your job and accidentally scroll through the category, save, exit, then reload.* That way if it does happen you won't have to worry on losing the progress *or lose very little progress* you've made with your jobs due to it being affected by the bug.
One thing I want to point out is whatever prop is being affected by the bug, it will disappear off the radar and on the map as well however, the game will think it's still there. Meaning the prop limit counter won't go down. This can be frustrating for some people. Luckily I also notice just yesterday that props on ground that are affected by this, it will still be possible to remove them if you hover over their spot where they were before.
I'm honestly not making this up. I know most of you guys don't enjoy doing those wall ride jobs / modded jobs so opinions are acceptable. Maybe it might not work for everyone even if you avoid scrolling through the dynamic props category but I've tested this and the solution works for me. I see this as something Rockstar could easily fix and I hope in next week's update they fix this because they did respond to my ticket on the support forums. Not only that but I notice when you place down a dynamic prop and then select it again, it changes to a different category and many other things as well which I don't feel like mentioning. Yeah so dynamic props is really buggy. If this solution does help for you then that's good.
