I think we should start thinking about what tracks we are going to use then get the qualifiers going soon. I have told the Red Rum guys to pick tracks. They have to be either Rockstar or Verified tracks so the starting grid is fair. Suggestions?

I won't make it through the qualifiers but this track should be used in my opinion. I know a lot of people might be quite bored of this track now but that's a good thing because everyone should be good at it by now.

Trowa The red rum commisioner has got back to me and said that there best time would probably be Saturday 9th August. They would also ask to play at around 3-4Pm EST and also suggested maybe keeping the tracks all rockstar to make the starting grid fair. This gives us plenty of time to sort out the qualifiers. He wants me to liason between you and him instead of him making an account on here. So I will pass on any information to him from you. UPDATED! I had the wrong date, the date is Sat 9th August. Who he is he? I will contact him on the social club directly. I dont want to relay messages back and fourth. Ill even sign up for their forums if he prefers that considering it only takes 30 seconds of my time. Its not exactly rocket science.

Hey fellas, I'm from RRR.
It isn't just R* tracks, it's all the verified ones also. This is how we have done it against other crews in the past with no problems and keeps it fair as regards to the grid positions. Also most people will have raced these tracks at one time or another and saves a lot of time having to learn new tracks. There are plenty to choose from and limits possible disputes to a minimum. Sorry if they're not 'broughy verified' or whatever but it's our stance on the matter and apologies if we are being stubborn about it.
If you do continue pushing to using your own tracks knowing full well it gives the host an unfair advantage, then race another crew as we won't be interested.

Well can we please just pick our 3 tracks then. People put in suggestions for R* and Verified tracks, the ones that are mentioned most will most likely be the ones which are chosen. We really need to get forward with this and get it all updated and a date set for the qualifiers.

Maybe we are bored of doing the same old tracks. something new to learn and master is fun and the mark of a good racer if succeeded. you simply want to do top speed runs by the look of it. Tracks that arent skill based. And could easily be decided by who leads out of the first corner. That isnt racing. Learning new tracks and lines on circuits that aren't glorified roundabouts. Thats a bit more like it.

The 9th would make me miss the event aswell so perhaps we can do it the 23rd? That would work best for me. We also need time to do our qualifier which I think we could our qualifier on the 16th or 17th and do the event the 23rd. What are your thoughts? Broughy1322

RRR1 wont race on custom tracks because they believe its unfair. So we need to pick 3 rockstar verified/Created races. The 3 tracks I would suggest are Monaco, Holy Drift Mountain and Nurburgring. Leave your suggestions below if are you are participating in the event. Also Craig 9876 Im in contact with redrum directly now. No need to continue messaging them as this will only cause confusion for them. Thank you.

OK, so far I have seen a sarcastic remark about taking 30 seconds to register and not being rocket science, and another remark about not being a good racer because we don't want to have to learn new tracks or something about wanting this to be a top speed run or something decided by the first corner.
First off, I am already a part of 6 forums, two for GTA and 4 for other things in my life. I am admin of two of those. I run the Approved Races Thread in GTAF which takes up a great deal of my time. I also have a full time job and a family to take care of as well as wanting to actually play the game now and then. I apologize if my not wanting to have to deal with yet another forum was a problem for you. I don't have time to keep tabs here.
Secondly, as I have said to Trowa we do not wish to do this on custom tracks for only one reason, it does not make a fair and balanced competition when the starting grid is the same for every race. We made this decision after the last CvC we did because every race the top three spots in the grid were RRR and we just ran away with the entire playlist. It isn't how we want to win. This will be our stance until they change the way the grid works. It does not make any difference who hosts. It would still be unfair.
If this does not work for your guys we understand. You came to us with this and your welcome to pull the offer at any time. Or we can pull our interest if you insist on continuing with the insults. To think that we would not be interested in custom tracks just because we don't know them is absurd, we spend most of our time racing new custom creations anyway.
We posted our tracks and we have our racers. Your ball.
PS - the 23rd is fine though I would rather it be sooner...
