So I've had an idea while watching the Singapore GP what if NODO had their own F1 championship on the F1 2015. This event will be held on PS4 and I'm gonna organize it anyway and just see if anyway wants to partake is this event. Ill want around 14 or more for me to start it up so if anyone is interested just let me know and if you have any tracks you would like to see in the championship feel free to put down below. The event will take 10 weeks in total with the last track decided by the public in a poll.
The Event
The time for this event may be a bit later than normal but that's just to suit me and other Australians/New Zealanders and so on better.
Date: Hopefully 13th November, 2015 9:00pm UTC time for the pre race lobby and debrief of the event and then 9:30pm for race start. For the pre race lobby there will be nothing to do so if your in there and we have like 10mins plus you can do something else because it is quite boring in the lobby.
Laps: This will be an endurance based with 2 races every week and laps will be set to 50% which should take 40mins to an hour each and also take into consideration pre race lobby (i wont wait for people who didnt partake in race 1 to join for race 2 unless they disconnected midway through race 1 or Qualifying so make sure you make it to race 1) there will also be one shot Qualifying so make sure you get practice and get a good setup or just run the default setup because you will only have one shot at poll position.
Race Settings: Just so we are not scrambling over which cars to get im gonna set car performance to equal because lets face it no one wants a Manor with realistic performance. With Automatic and Manual gears you can use what best suits you but remember with Manual you have a bit more leeway with what gears you use in corners etc which can potentially speed your lap times up.
Race Rules
Normal NODO rules apply but if you take someone out you most likely get a penalty anyway but if you take someone out but dont get a penalty then you must wait for them to come back past you. Now because of lag if you dont take anyone out but still get a penalty you can tell me that providing you have evidence and if you are successful ill take that penalty off your overall time. Blue flag is obviously in effect because i reckon there will be people getting lapped by the leaders. When I get the race calender sorted and stuff i will update this post so that everyone will get a chance to practice if they want to but 4 tracks that will definitely be in it will be Singapore night race, Bahrain night race, Monaco Grand Prix and Spa Grand Prix will all be in there when idk yet. If you disconnect midway through the race you will receive no points and will be considered as just plain bad luck. If you would like to know anything else just let me know and if anything else needs to be added also let me know.
