(PS4) The San Andreas 1000 Sedan Championship (COMPLETED)

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the San Andreas 1000 Sedan Championship. Very much inspired by the Bathurst 1000. We will be racing on some of the more scenic roads in GTA 5, from Tongva to Mount Haan. More than just a test of speed but a test of consistency. 

Format:
For this Championship we will be using the Intruder, Primo and Fugitive. Three very competitve cars of almost identical pace, and each with there own unique qualities and driving style. The championship will last for four weeks, each week will contain two 20 minute races and one 5 lap qualifying session. There will be 8 teams of 3, with one person representing each car from each team. But not only are you racing for your team, but against each other aswell, as every driver is competing to win. Dont worry if you do not own the car you are wanting to race with, it will be set to GTA for respawns and for pitlane purposes.

Teams:
Teams will be randomly decided by me once we have a full grid, or once we have a good few signups. Please let me know what car you will be using in the comments below or message me personally. From here you will be able to decide team names as well as colours. 

Prelobby: 
The prelobby will open at 7:15pm UTC and we will meet up near the circuit at this time, i will be sure to add you all as a friend before the event starts and i will invite you to an invite only session. Please let me know as early as possible if you are going to be late as i can get reserves in and it will just run smoother. No prelobby shenanigans aswell such as getting cops and killing players, it will not be accepted and will just make me angry

Qualifying:
Before the races I will host a 3 lap qualifying session where the starting grid is determined from your best lap. With the first lap being a warm up lap and the last lap being a cool down lap. You must stop before the finish line on the last lap and wait for everyone else to join you, if you cross the finish line before this your best lap will be void and you will start at the back. If anyone quits or DC's the starting position is determined by position standings. Quali will also take place in the same conditions as the first race so please be aware when you are practicing.

Race:
Once everyone has got there car I will begin getting everyone in there grid order, I will post this on slack and i will need someone to call out loud on the mic, as I do not own one. The race will be begun using a sticky bomb. Once the first race is finished we will jump straight into the second race where the starting grid will be the reverse grid order of the previous race, again I will use slack to post the starting order. I would really appreciate if you payed attention during the grid order as its so frustrating when someone doesn't respond.


Tracks:
For this event, we will be using some tracks that offer great scenery as well as good racing. I have tried to select tracks that i think will suit all 3 cars, whether it be the traction of the Primo or the acceleration of the Fugitive. Each track will be fitted with a pitlane although mandatory pitstops are not enforced, so take care when youre out there.
