Everyone was cheating using sunny weather hacks. But seriously, using pavements is not cheating.

Haha shred, shame id dc i was at the best possible location at the start but lagged out 10 m before entering the 1st corner. nice win jontti but 1 thing, everyone who raced with offroad tyres be ashamed.. ssooo ugly and especially in the xs it makes a huge difference.

id say it IS cheating when youre driving on the wrong side of lamp posts and phone booths. THE RACE WAS MEANT FOR THE ROAD. i dont mean occasionally going up onto the pavement/sidewalk because your going wide after the corner. thats ok. but deliberately driving on the wrong side of the obstacles before the corner for a wider angle IS cheating imo.
anyway i dont wanna turn this into a rant, its all ill say on the matter. i really dont care if thats what u wanna do. bit hollow tho. have fun.

Jontti500 You could always crank the voice volume and lower the game volume if that's a problem.

Jontti500 If that's the case, I guess it's up to that person to fix the problem. I'd just chat with who ever had their mic at the correct volume.

ChrisDE22I like the idea, and it sounds easy enough, but I'd have to see it executed to truly consider it possible. Chris is right. It can work. I've joined a couple of Apex events, don't worry though I'm Nodo for life!(some long 10 week championships) where qualifying and then a start is done after organising the grid, so usually way after the countdown. Rolling start example: A simple formation lap is created (add 1 to the desired lap count) and no one can pass until lap 2 begins. Or the method I prefer, a grid start: This works really well because you can have a proper qualifying session, therefore allowing the quicker drivers there rightful place at the front of the grid (sorry if my wording comes off harsh, I don't really know how else to put it). You also avoid the situation where the person in front misses the boost start and you clatter straight in to them. Instead, throttle control comes into play and knowing how far to rev in order to get a perfect launch. It's much more realistic albeit slightly longer to implement. The way Apex do it is to lay down C4 10/15 meters ahead and they are set off at a designated time (for example at 50 seconds on the timer) and then the race begins. Both are viable options and definitely doable. Yes mics would help but almost everyone that ever enters our events is on skype so any final details that need to be put out can be done on there. It is something that could work very well for some of our crews bigger events that take place. It adds another layer of realism that I quite like. Sorry for the long post but some of you may find this interesting/helpful
