This is a thread to talk about what you think the next GTA game should include. Please do not post speculation here this is simply your opinion of what you'd like to be included in the next GTA game.

As someone from the UK I would love it to be set in London. We've already had London in '61 and '69 so maybe in a past year might be cool, like Victorian era, however this would be most likely a game like Red Dead Redemption, not part of the GTA series but still published by Rockstar. A modern day GTA in London could work, contrary to most foreigners beliefs you can gets guns in the UK and we do have many armed police units, especially in London. Think how cool it would be attempting to break into Buckingham Palace and getting 5 stars haha. Anyway I really doubt that's going to happen but I'd love it if it did. I can imagine it would be amazing.
Keeping on the location idea, I think having Liberty City as the map again would be great. A game set in New York made for next-gen consoles would surely look brilliant. I'm a fan of the compacter GTA maps not necessarily smaller but a higher density of buildings, somewhere in-between GTA IV and GTA V would be nice. I felt the GTA V map was maybe a touch too empty. Another thing I've been hearing people say is it could be set in San Francisco ie. San Fierro from San Andreas. Not a bad idea but personally I'm not a fan.
Ok so it's hard to know what to wish for when you don't know just how far they can push the game, GTA V seems so amazing it's hard to know what could top it. But then again I thought the same thing back when San Andreas came out. Maybe a world that combines Liberty City AND Vice City AND San Andreas. GTA V has constant references to the other GTA world locations so why not connect them. Every modern GTA game has had an airport so why not put them to use? Being able to travel to the other GTA locations on a plane from the airport in a cut-scene would be totally mind-blowing for me. Would nicely wrap all the games together and make them truly feel together.
That's my thought's on possible world/setting ideas. I'll post some more thought's later.

sorry to burst your bubble m8, but rockstar have said it themselves that GTA 5 will never return to london. they say that gta as of the 3d universe is meant to be a mockery or parody of american culture. They did however say they might use london for another game. now i do believe that we could get a super map with gta 6. since gta 5 was released on all major platforms, the game was held back by the limitations imposed by the xbox 360 and ps3. while the game looks great and the map is huge, i think the game could have been soooooo much better if they skiped xbox 360 and ps3. I do think the super map could happen though. take a look at the crew. game looked like shit but had a huge map. 2000 square miles to be exact. now i dont think rockstar can do 2000 square miles and make it look up to the standards and detail that their games have, but they could have a 200 plus square mile game. Another reason why i think this is becuase they havent fully saturated the power of the next gen systems yet. when xbox 360 and ps3 came out, the game were not on par with the games that were released near the end of the cycle like gta 5. thats about as much speculation as i want to do.

@mauvecrib8589 Yeah I know they said they'd never return to London but Rockstar say a lot of things. If there was a high enough demand for it to be set outside the US I think they'd do it. As it is I think most people, myself included, are happy with it staying in the US. If just be happy if there was a game in London though as there hasn't been a game that's made a modern day London.

I also think they could really make use of the second screen feature. A lot of GTA V is accessed through your phone so why not make an app that you can download for your phone that allows you to join jobs, place bounties, call for your car and all that stuff. Just think it would be a nice little addition.

It would be a nice addition, but how many times would you grab your phone, unlock it, open the app (which might take some while depending on your phone), select your option & wait for it to happen when you can also do it almost instantly in-game?

I want to see the older renditions of vehicles alongside the modern ones, kinda like the Blista and the Blista Compact, or the old and new Oracle. It would be nice to see some of the same model cars both in modern times and aged.
I'd also love to have rusty beater cars, like in gta 4, to have a proper demolition derby. Car damage was also dulled wayyy down in 5 compared to 4, I'd like to have 4's car damage in six.
Race creator as well, but seeing as its in 5, it almost has to be in six

I pretty much want V again, just expanded upon.
After getting a proper next gen city but now with countryside, highways, multiple airports and towns, I would never want to go the IV route with just one city and nothing else again. I wouldn't mind returning to LC, since NY is my favorite city on Earth, but it'd need to be expanded upon.
I think a new city altogether could be the way to go. Chicago is in my opinion the most interesting american city that has not appeared in GTA yet. Google maps say thatfrom Chicago to NY it is 800 miles, or about twice as long as SF to LA, so a map having both LS and a GTA rendition of Chicago would be possible, and definitely very cool.
I don't know what they could add feature-wise. Perhaps expand on the estate management. I'd like some way of making money in Online without actually working, but with investments, say purchasing a car dealership, the golf club, a restaurant or something like that. You'd then be able to manage it and it would earn money periodically. That would definitely give the people constantly moaning there's nothing to do something to do!
Come to think of it, I think V's SP is pretty much perfect. We'd all like to have more cars, more customization, more this and that, and we will, in one way or another. What I really want is for Online to move to a more MMO-ish state. Firstly, all the connection and netcode (or whatever) needs to be vastly improved. Then I'd like to see things like different currencies, hard to get items like cars, rare guns, clothing, apartment decor etc. and player-to-player shops for all these. Harder missions you'd need to own some equipment for and more. You know what I'm getting at.

I think that GTA's main audience is casual players which mean that GTA will never move towards a MMO type game. Working hard just to get that awesome item that may just be a re-skin or a slightly buffed item just isn't for filthy casuals.
