Welcome to the Altmuligmann Cup 2016
Introduction
In honor of Altmuligmennene (Jack of All Trades), Premium Deluxe Motorsport is hosting a five week long racing event featuring a variety of different endurance races all across Los Santos. Ranging from Rallycross to Grand Prix races, truly testing all around abilities of each individual racer in a team based GT class format.
The entire event will be streamed live at my Twitch Channel on Twitch.tv. So if you want to watch as the event unfolds then you are free to do so, without participating in the event yourself. Other twitch channels will be added here if they are mentioned to stream the event.

Teams (No more signups)
To participate in this racing event, you will be required to team form a team of 3 people including yourself. Before you sign up, make sure that you have followed the steps in order to be eligible for events. Click here to have a look.
When you sign up, state the company you're racing for, from a list you can find here. State your teammates and which car they will be driving for EACH group of cars, a GT1 driver in group 1 can become a GT2 or GTA 3 driver in group 2 and vise versa, so figure out which car suits who. And lastly the car colors of your team, which has to be distinctly different than any other teams. Do note that teams will be required to have the same paint job across all their cars to easily see who's in the same team throughout the different GT cars. If you want, you can also provide an image of your team and cars and I'll add them below, but this is not a requirement though.

Don't have a team? Don't worry. (No more signups)
If you don't have a team, or don't know anyone you want to be in your team, simply leave a comment that you're looking for teammates for this event. Or you can have a look below and see who also needs teammates and message them and form a team. But still make sure that one of you three post a comment with all the required information so that you can be added into the registered teams. Furthermore, if you know you can't make all of the races, I would suggest that you apply as a reserve driver just in case someone doesn't make it. Upon doing so, you will be placed under the reserve drivers.
Want to make a video out of the event?
If you feel like making a video about the Altmuligmann Cup 2016, simply mention in a comment below that you want to spectate all the event races. You can record the races from any angle you want as, everything goes, but you can not disrupt the race itself event in any way.
Teamspeak
As with all events, you are required to be in the NoDo Teamspeak Server. If you are unfamiliar with Teamspeak in any way regarding this, please check out this thread about Teamspeak, with information about IP and password. We will all be in the same Teamspeak event room in order to relay information about starting grid and collisions, if this turns out to be a poor choice then we will be separated into team rooms instead.

Starting Positions
30 minutes before the first event race begins (and only the first), there will be 5 non-contact qualifying laps on Dolcetto Circuit to decide what place in the starting grid you will have, the faster qualifying the better grid position. Starting positions are GT dependent, which means that you are only qualifying for what position in your GT you will have, a GT1 driver will never start behind a GT2 or GT3 driver. So GT1 up in front, followed by GT2 in the middle and then finally GT3 in the back.
However, after the first event race has been completed, the starting grid for each GT will be reversed. And the grid positions throughout the event will be GT dependent. Which means that if you finish 1st in GT1 during a race, the next player who's in GT1 in your team will then be placed 9th in the starting grid of GT1. The same goes for all the other GTs, but nonetheless GT1 will always start in front of GT2 and GT2 in front of GT3.
A sticky bomb will be used to start the race. This will happen first for GT1, then another will be placed for GT2, and another for GT3. There will be around 15 seconds between the start of each class and the race will have started within a minute of the first sticky bomb.
Pit Stops
For the start of every block of 10 laps in a race, you will be required to do one pit stop. For example 34 laps would result in 4 pit stops during the race. You are not allowed to do a pit stop outside the pit windows. To complete a pit stop, simply drive through the pit and collect a wrench.
All the races require you to do the mandatory pit stops, all of which can be done at any point during the race except for the first lap. And there will be a pit watcher to make sure everyone does their pit stops. Failure to do the mandatory pit stops during a race, will result in a time penalty of 15 seconds per missed pit stop.

Cars
There are going to be six different cars used in this event. The first group of cars consists of the Benefactor Surano, Invetero Coquette and the Maibatsu Penumbra. These cars will be used on the tracks that have little to no dirt or off-road sections in the race.
The second group of cars consists of the Karin Kuruma, Karin Sultan and the Karin Futo. All of these cars are rally inspired and will be used on races that are mostly or fully off-road.
All teams are required to have the correct car for each race. If a driver shows up in the wrong car, that driver will be automatically disqualified from the race and will be ineligible to win any points for that race. The rest of the teammates will however still be eligible.

Points
1st - 20 points
2nd - 16 points
3rd - 12 points
4th - 10 points
5th - 8 points
6th - 6 points
7th - 4 points
8th - 2 points
9th - 1 points
Every driver in each team is eligible to gain points unless rules are not followed correctly, a disconnect or not showing up will give you no points. 1st place means you place first in your GT, this means that 20 points are up for grabs in every different GT. Allowing a maximum of 60 points if a team places 1st in all GTs. The same goes for all the other finishing positions.
After each race, points will be added to the scoreboard as soon as I have time. Teams with more points than another after each race, will be moved up the ranks periodically throughout this event.
Races
Races will be held once a week on Sundays throughout five weeks, the first one will have a qualifying race 30 minutes earlier than the main event race. The races will be 60 minutes long depending on the track, with varying car groups, time settings and weather settings. Feel free to practice each race before the event, for both a better racing experience, better qualifying lap in the first race, and less accidents.
Racing Rules
During the races, you will be required to follow the standard Nonchalant Dominance Guidelines. All parts of a track are usable and there are no restrictions on where you can overtake, as long as you race cleanly. This also goes for any off-road races that take place in this event, same rules apply there too. Respawning is only allowed if no other option is available, like if you go into water or get your car completely stuck. Crashing your car too much is not a valid reason to respawn, stop crashing and take it more slowly.
Race Penalties
Whether it is by accident or on purpose, accidents or breaking rules do happen when you are competing with other players. Of course there will be penalties if you break the set rules, which includes the Nonchalant Dominance Guidelines. What the penalties will be, is yet to be decided and might be decided during the event.
