Who would buy a 12gb ps3? I was considering replacing my old one with a cheap 12GB and putting in a 1TB drive which I already own, but I'll stick with it despite the loud fan noise sounding like a 747 taking off.

I purchased the GTA 5/500GB PS3 Bundle. It was only, around, $250 at the time. $50 for the game, $200 for the PS3! :-)

This al depends on when you bought it, when the ps3 first came out it was expensive as fuck and the price gradually went down as time went on. So if you don't know when he bought it you can't say if it was a good deal or not.
