I play the piano and sing, and in high school I played the bassoon, tuba, trombone, and alto sax. Sadly I can't really play the piano much anymore, thanks to carpal tunnel.

Drums have been my primary instrument for the past ten years or so, and I've played in a few bands and released a few albums as a drummer. In my current band I'm officially a drummer too, but we do a lot of unplugged stuff where I play guitar and sing harmonies. I also know my way around bass and keyboard, and I have all these instruments in my home studio, except drums (because family). It's not a professional studio by any conceivable stretch, but it's great for recording demos and testing song arrangements. In my early years and teens I played various brass instruments in marching bands. I doubt that I could still play those instruments comfortably but I could presumably still at least make some sound. Youre so dank

I am playing drums for the 6th year this year, mainly training on technique and styles, not really playing songs, I also do play acoustic guitar wich i also love to do for the 4th year. I do like to play on a bass too but i'm still playing the basics on songs like Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinant. But my favourite will always be the drums.

I play guitar ( both electric and acoustic ) everyday and am currently in a guitars class at school. My electric guitar is apparently worth $10000 which I think is pretty cool to know

I'm a guitar player for the most part - been playing since I was 12 (I'm 33 now), I also dabble in other stringed instruments (Ukelele, mandolin, bass, piano) and used to mess around with drums, but those went away when I got married. Lol.

I was in a few bands that never really got much beyond the playing-for-friends stage.
I don't really do anything musical anymore, but I started playing bass in the 90s and that was probably my best instrument. I dabbled in guitar and keyboard for a while, but pretty basic stuff. Mostly just for home recording purposes. On top of that, I sang in 2 out of the 3 bands, and I picked up the ukulele somewhere around 08 just to amuse myself.
First band was all covers, as it usually goes. Second and third were going at the same time, with one being a horrorpunk thing (Misfits, Blitzkid, Etc.) and the other being a psychobilly thing that my heart wasn't really in. Was fun though.
I still have a nifty little 4 track 'home studio' set up in a corner of my house, but sadly it just collects dust these days. I always wanted to play ska but it never happened. I should have befriended a couple band geeks in highschool.

Guitar, bass, and a little bit of piano. I always wished I studied classical music though.
It's been around 15 years now, I still have a band with friends that does progressive rock every now and then, but nothing so serious. Jobs get in the way.

Glad this thread came up! I'm currently studying music (specifically Trombone) right now at college. I also play bass, piano, and pretty much every other brass instrument. Being that I study music, I have to learn the woodwinds, perc. and strings as well (not anything super crazy, just have to know the basics ). If any of you dabble with jazz, theres an awesome FB page called Jam of the Week where theres a chart thats called at the beginning of the week and you can post a video of you playing a chorus, its pretty sweet seeing the loads of talented people there (still havent posted a vid, some people are just crazy good)
