If you're anything like me you enjoy the smooth ride you get when cruising in the Cheetah, but find it just a bit off the pace to be consistently competitive with the top tier super cars. I'm looking for clean racers who want to get their underused expensive cars into some competitive races all around San Andreas. I have picked 5 races that provide competitive battlegrounds for clean contact racing with varied roads, elevations, scenary, and sight lines. Ideally the stability of the Cheetah will provide steady side by side racing on all the different types of tracks in the playlist for up to 16 people. I ask that all racers please be classy and cordial to each other, if any disputes arise that can't be handled politely by those involved I will step in and make a final ruling. If anyone needs to be kicked out during a race I will stop and post a message on my PSN comment, we will vote then regroup in a single file line and continue on. Cheetahs are welcome, cheaters are not. If you have a jailbroken PS3 do not sign up for this event. Cars: Cheetahs Only for all 5 races. Tires: High End, Sports, or Stock. Spoiler Upgrade Required. Other modification options including color are up you. Time will be set to Current and Weather will be set to Clear for all 5 races. Starting procedure will be standard GTA5 countdown, there are no pit stops or joker laps for any of the races. As host I will pull off to the left at the start to let the field pass on 3 of the 5 races. (McKenzie, Lunar Loops, and Shark) If for some reason I lose the host or pole position whomever inherits it will not be required to do the same. If you choose the wrong car, pull off safely at the start when you can and go to the back of the pack and do not attempt to pass anyone or distract anyone. 5 Race Playlist - The entire playlist will take about 1 hour to complete with each race being roughly 10 minutes long. Make sure you send me a friend request so you don't miss out on the invite. -Make sure you have the right tires and a spoiler. (Strictly enforced) -Make sure you have money in your front pocket to bet. (Loosely enforced) -Please DO NOT hit the barrier coming out of the hairpin on Shark GP because it glitches and changes the race line. If you do hit it by accident, everyone may cut the corner. You do not have to stop and replace the barrier with your car, because a 0 is unreasonable for an honest mistake. -Please use your breaks at the beginning of Lunar Loops, the left lane has the right of way so do not cause an accident. For the shared sections of Lunar Loops the cars entering the section for the first time have the right of way. -Turn off computers if possible and give your PS3 as much bandwidth as you can. -Thank you for participating and feel free to leave feedback after the event. |

If you don't own a Cheetah you can't play because you don't meet the spoiler requirement. We are aiming for smooth racing as much as possible.

I don't own a cheetah, and don't really wanna get rid of one of my cars, and dump the 800k by the time I upgrade, just for an hour long playlist. I'd love to race though. Personally I think having a full field, with some cars without wings will make for a better event than a few cars with wings. Just my opinion.

I understand wanting to play, yet not having a Cheetah. I respect your opinions on what should be done or what could be fun, but ultimately I don't know how it will play out and using a field of only upgraded Cheetahs is partially how I plan on figuring it out. The Cheetah wasn't picked randomly, it has a certain steady feel that I think will make for interesting racing because the cars can be in close proximity to each other and maintain very stable individual lines which should make for more neck and neck situations with less wrecks. If your car is not fast enough to keep up, it's defeating the purpose and aim of the event. If you don't have a spoiler your car is more likely to step out while turning and cause other racers to crash or slow down. Hopefully if people enjoy it there will be more Cheetah events down the road.

Hope I like it for than just racing, lol. Maybe it'll grow on me. |

Also, if you feel that the cars are not diverse enough you can turn this into something like Shaggy's old Red v Blue events, where two people can respawn Cheetah's for the rest of their team, and the grid be sorted out as red, blue, red, blue, etc, and switch every race in the PL to blue, red, blue, red, etc. Of course the colors don't have to be red or blue  Just some suggestions

GTA mode would solve one issue, but create the issue of taking more time. I just want the event to run smoothly and quickly. More driving time as apposed to grid organizing is best for what I want to do with an hour long playlist.
