I'm not sure if this is in the right section. I finished my first track, then raced against randoms to see how it felt with other people. It's around a 2 minute track and this guy in the first race I do laps it in 30 seconds. He laps everyone and that was that. Is there a way to reset the lap records? Cheers

Losing whilst racing fairly is always better than winning whilst racing unfairly.

I'd try changing the track. With that I mean just moving a checkpoint, setting it down a few yards away and putting it back again. That might reset all lap records but I'm not sure

Make a copy of the published race in the Content Creator, delete the published one, and then publish the copy. I'm pretty sure that would "reset" it.

World records aren't registered on a track unless the track is either verified or rockstar created. So for your track, you won't be able to reset a world record because the world record was never recorded in the first place... if that makes sense. So you're fine
